In figuring nine-week grades, a social stidies teacher wants homework to count for 20%, quizzes to count for 20%, class participation to count for 10%, and exams to count for 50% of the grade.
Question: a) what average would a student get if her scores in those categories were 80,70,90, and 75 respectively?

b) If a student had a homework score of 90, a quiz score of 80, and a class participation score of 100, what exam score will give a nine-week average of at least 80?

I have 2 Silver Arowana in my 75 gallon tank. Having read a previous article about arowana jumping, I need help in Arowana behavior. I know what is legal and not so please give me educated answers. I have done extensive reading up on them, but I cannot find any articles on thier particular behavior patterns. My bigger one is almost a foot long now, and prefers to eat Rosies. The smaller one is about eight inches long, and prefers crickets. There are two decent sized oscars in there with them, an Irian Jaya Tiger barb, 2 7 inch Irid sharks, one good sized lavendar Gourami, male, and an assortment of pleco's and cat's for cleaning. The bigger one looks like he is having speed races back and forth in the aquarium, and the smaller one looks sick. He will move around, but sometimes will sit dormant at the top. Ammonia level reading of .2 and nitrite at .3. I cannot seem to get it to zero. Advice? Please be very specific.

the printer is not in use. there are no printer or printing programs open. the printer is not even hooked up to the printer. i am trying to unstall the driver, so i can download the vista driver. both printer and computer are Dells, btw.

I'm doing interviews and an employee feels that she has lots of knowledge in her position. Actually I don't think she does. She also feels that she does a lot of work. She moves a lot of work, but it's normally incorrect or sent to another staff to process.

Replaced the 02 sensor and the idle air sensor and checked the throttle position sensor with a volt meter and took the negative battery cable off to reset the comp and the light still comes on. It runs like it's lean but I can attain highway speeds if I speed up slow enough. Seems to run fine if I don't give it any gas. Had the auto parts store check the computer and it didn't store any error codes even while it was running with the check engine light on.

How come some people can lose weight so much easier than others? And how come guys tend to lose faster than women? What types of exercises are scientifically proven most effective in builing muscle and burning fat? I have heard resistance is more effective than cardio. What would be some good resistance exercises to lose belly fat?

I had a date once with a golfer, and she tried to interest me in golf. When she asked me if I wanted to play a round, I TOTALLY misunderstood her, and wound up getting smacked a good one.

I just got done with a play, the cast and crew have gotten along so well, we are like family.

The last play was last night, and we need a great goodbye song for the play.

not now but later on cuz two states are gonna end up sinking in 30 years too and more states can sink along with it.
this is how the worlds going to end?
The goverment is starting to pay $100,000,000,000,000 [million] to build a machine to hold up something in earths core so no states sink but if it doens twork, thats hwo the world is going to dye?
