Too short. Effects his vision because the 6ft8in O-linemen would be in his way.

Chris Leak was a top college quarterback but he did not have the right stuff to make it the nfl. His size is what got in the way. he was to big to make it. If some team gave him a chance and put time and money into him he might have been good because he had strong arm and a lot of natural talent but the could have been a bust like so many quarterbacks trying to make in the nfl if he could not adjust quickly to the nfl style of playing.

He didnt get drafted, but he did just sign a free agent deal with Chicago, so Chocago felt his negatives wouldnt have prevented them from getting him after the draft

he signed with the bears as an undrafted free agent, as far as him not being drafted he is only 6 feet which is small for a qb and theres questions about his arm strength

Because he is too short and his college career was too inconsistent. If Leak was 6'6'', I guarantee you he would've been drafted on potential alone.

The scouts all said he was undersized, that he would not be able to see the lanes at 5 11 with 6 8 lineman. I dont agree. I dont see how they dont see that size does not matter. If a player can produce, but is short, who cares?

His size and his wonderlic wasn't very good too. Also senior ball he struggled too. But Go Gators

Because he wasn't that good. Although I hear that Calgary wants him for their CFL team (source is a bit sketchy though).
