Am i the only one who thinks it is ridiculous that the Jays are replacing Towers with Victor Zambrano?! I mean it isn't Towers' fault that he doesn't get run support. who agrees with me?

I was about to answer this one in the basketball section, but you found the right category.

Towers is definitely a better option than Zambrano. But now that the Jays have made the move, here's the pitching line you get to look forward to from Zambrano:

(L-Zambrano) 4 IP, 5 ER, 5 H, 7 BB, 2 K, 110 pitches

Keep your barf bags handy, Blue Jays fans. And keep your arms ready, Blue Jays bullpen. The team's gonna need all of you to clean up Zambrano's messes.

I ain't a Jays fan, but Zambrano is washed up and Towers still has the potential to be a starter in the MLB.

I'm not a Jays fan but I do follow them a bit.Zambrano is not very good pitcher from what I've seen and Towers has always looked halfway decent. So I agree with you there.

But you have to remember that it's his fault that other teams are getting runs.

In a way, I do agree though. Jays have to give this guy some runs in order for any pitcher to do good.

Yea it is BS. I mean he has had good starts and yea maybe 4 runs have been allowed here and there but if that is the situation then Tomo Ohka should have been canned long ago.
