What were the Reactions of Western imperialism form Africa, South America, and Asian Points of View? 1600s -1900s

It's not like they weren't upset. There was the Boxer Rebellion, for example. But sometimes rebellion ended up in harsher treatment from the imperialists.

but i'm sure its negative... for example, the boxer rebellion in china and revolts in india obviously demonstrates hostility and anti-foreigner sentimentality, regardless of any "pros" of western imperialism (esp. towards exploiters and pushy diplomats)
