There is no bounty on probation violators. This is handled by the Probation Department of the Court, and the violator may be apprehended by a Probation Officer, or Police Officer. Bounty Hunters only act on behalf of a Bail Bondsman, when someone who has made bail, doesn't show up for court. The bondsman who has put up the cash surety, for the person's appearance, will hire a Bounty Hunter, for a percentage of the bond, to locate and apprehend the missing person. Bounty Hunting is only legal in some states.

A bounty means that a person used a bail bondsman to post his bail and get released from jail pending his trial, and has now missed his trial and the bondsman is offering money to a bounty hunter to find them and bring them in. If this what happened, call the bail bondsman that the person used.
Someone who has committed a probation violation may or may not have an arrest warrant for them. It depends on if their probation officer reported the violation already. If they did, then there is probably a warrant for their arrest, which you could confirm by visiting the probation office.
