ok my girl friend finished with me in dec 06 we where together for 2 years she always threatened me with a split a few times. Before we met I was a single guy confident but not jerk. Had my own business and spoke my mind. Within those two years I lost my business due spending to much time with her. not her fault mine but you cant have the best of both worlds. She stopped me from speaking my mind and when I did she made it sound if it was stupid girls are like that. so finally she threatened me with a split and I said "What you have turned me in to I would rather that" a month went by and we talked about getting back together but never did down to stubbiness. I think back and think at the beginning we where both so different and miss the person we where and not the people we became but the gutting feeling inside is missing her the way she was and we where. but then you think to end of the relationship and think I’m so happy to be out it. Im confident again and have a business again but

As a student nurse on Psychiatric secondment I vaguely remember reading about how people with this condition have no conscience and can't experience love and that this is due to a physical difference in the brain so can not be corrected. In Britain they can not be held in a pscyniatric hospital because of being a psycopath because it is untreatable, which really surprised and worried me.

this is a question to all chefs and foodies... are you overweight? i don't understand how most chefs are normal weight... obviously they looove food and prepare it all the time, which means they are probably thinking about it alot. how can they resist all of their delicious creations... how do they keep their weight under control?

(i understand that cooking probably burns quite a few calores, it's very "hands-on" but my question is more about the calorie consumption end, not exercise)

Usually the side of an object facing the beam is illuminated therefore making the beam more visible if it's direction of travel is away from you. However in the case of the laser during fog or heavy smoke the laser is more clearly seen when it's direction of travel is toward you as if it illuminates the back sides of microscopic particles in the air. how is this possible and why?? this would almost make laser sights for guns more dangerous for the user cause it'll identify clearly tot he opponent where your location is.

I wrote in a week ago.. My dad has colon cancer, and has surgery next week.. its been a very trying couple of days while waiting.. After, he will be in hospital for 10 days.. I am jumping ahead I know, but was wondering what it might be like when he gets out of the hospital and is at home. I will be taking care of him, but was wondering if he will be able to manage stairs.. what exactly he will be able to do after such a operation.. I know doctor will tell after, but if there is a way i can prepare for his return home.. a little anxious to know now... appreciate any advice/infor.. thanks,, from a very scared daughter..

I have been asked to find th value of:

int:(4-x^2)^(1/2)dx with limits from x=0 to x=1 and using x=2sin(theta) as a substitution.

I have come up with the answer of 0.181, is this correct. My integration gives me (-sin2(theta)+2(theta)) with limits of theta=0 and theta =pi/6. If this is wrong, why.
