Without a doubt, go on a Royal Caribbean cruise. I prefer the one that goes all the way around Cuba. Not that it stops at Cuba, Obviously... but the one that goes to the Caymans, then Jamaica then Mexico. This is the cheapest way to see lots of islands!
My husband and I have been on several (Carnival, Royal, etc) and royal caribbean is THE BEST! We like the seven day cruises, but if you haven't been on a cruise before or if you are leary about being on the ocean for a long time, then maybe try a five day cruise. The best thing to do is to go to the royal caribbean website and take a tour of all the ships they offer. See which restaurants appeal to you and your husband, and what kind of activities you guys think you will like. Also, make sure you choose the LATE dinner. That way you won't have to leave the stops early to come back and get dressed for dinner.

I suggest taking a Mediterranian cruise on Royal Caribbean (Brilliance of the Seas) or on Celebrity Cruise line. Early November is a great time to go to the Mediterranian because its not too hot and the weather is still pleasant. The number of tourists also declines about then. The port stops available are great. Places like Rome, Florence/Piza, Napoles, ITaly; Athens, Mykonos and Santorini, Greece; and Turkey (Ephesus) make for a great vacation seeing some exciting and historical cites. We did this cruise two years ago on the Brilliance, leaving out of Barcelona, Spain. However, there are a number of itineraries and cruise lines available for you to choose from. Royal Caribbean and Celebrity are among the very best cruise lines; along with Princess and Holland America.

since you two are married i'm going to assume you are not looking for a major party ship. My suggestion would be a carribean cruise with norwegian. I enjoyed my norwegiean cruise and with the site vacationstogo.com me and my girlfriend got on for under $500 a person. It seemed to be a more laid back family and couples type cruise than a noisy party cruise like carnival. To even make your vacation the cheapest i suggest waiting until with in 90 days to book your cruise with vacationstogo.com to get the best deal .and book your airfare through yahoo travel I noticed you can't beat either of these sites in prices. It is also standard procedure that at the end of the cruise gratuity is about 10 per person per day norwegian automatically charges this to your bill.

Royal Carribean is a superior cruise line to Carnival. I have been on both. Royal Carribean is a definite step up in beauty and ammenities.
Take a Voyager of the Seas class ship (142,000 ton class). Do the 7 day from Miami to Cozumel. It is a great cruise and lots of fun.

Wow..looks like you got a lot of answers! I guess everyone has their favorite. If this is your first cruise, and you want a great time without going bankrupt, I would highly recommend Carnival. Were are currently planning our 5th cruise with them. The rates are good, and the ship is SO FUN!!! In Dec, we are going on the Carnival Glory for 7 days....3 stops(Nassau, St John and St Thomas). Our group price: $504.00 per person. If it has to be November, contact Carnival.com or a good travel agent.

The caribbean is very nice that time of year with excellent pricing ( unless you go Thanksgiving week - If you plan to go that week book quickly - most ships limit the number of children they allow on board and as can be expected this is a week with a large quantity of children onboard) Try one of the large Royal Caribbean Ships( VoyagerClass or Freedom Class)
