Does anyone here believe that the universe is not billions of years old because of what the bible says?

Do you therefore believe that the earth is in the center of the universe and the sun and planets revolve around it because the bible says that to?

I am a Christian, Steven Hawking fan, and doing a Galileo project. Thats why I'm asking.

The baby oil helped and fur started growing back around the affected area. After that his eyes pussed up and crusted up and it looked like a severe case of pink eye. We put terramycin ointment in both eyes. That didn't seem to help because both eyes started to drain, the puss was very thick and yellow. We had to keep an eye on him because the drainage would dry so bad that his eyelids were stuck closed. Obviously the drainage has caused fur loss around his eyes and face. The bare skin is now real dry and scaly looking. It almost looks like the drainage has started eaing away at his skin although there isn't any open wound areas. Does anyone have any idea what this is or how to treat it? This looks extremely painful and we've even thought about having him put to sleep. Just like all pet lovers, we really don't want to do that unless we have to. Please help!!

My b/f is 46 yrs old and he wets the bed,check this out not once or twice but once in a week,he is not on any kind of medication or drinks alcohol. he thinks that i don't know about it because he will gets up immediately and puts a bath towel on the wet spot,because of that am turned off,he wants to know y am not having sex with him.should i tell him the truth the reason y am not having sex with him. please give me an idea on what to say to him without hurting his feelings.thank u.

ok me and my bf broke up like 3 days ago and the day b4 he broke up with me one of my friends told me that he said that when we arent dating he likes me so he asks me out but as soon as we start dating he doesnt like me anymore so he breaks up with me. And i dont know what to do cuz he told me that he was really starting to love me and it makes me even more sad cuz i really love him but i dont think we will get back together and if we do it might be hard for us to stay together cuz he's going 2 a different high school but some of my closest friends live near him so i could see him all the time. its just i dont know what to do to get him back and keep him.

my 2 beloved greys have been on the barf diet for nearly a week now and are doing great..my females appetite has somewhat doubled(thank the lord)....the flatulance has diminished and my poo bag usage is dwindling to nill...but iv just been on an american web page that says barf is bad for greys so now im panicking..they are fed naturesmenu meat and anglian meat (the natures comes in chunks it does for a change)and it aint cheap....Do any other grey owners know if the barf diet is bad for greys ? Your advice please..as you all no iv had a continual battle with dry/soaked food before you suggest that

I've asked before about feeling among friends and inter-acting with other people.
But I've begun to notice the immense amount of sympathy and fellow-feeling that we get on here.
Someone's little pet dies and they are inundated with replies and condolences.
Someone has a problem.And immediately people post in with advice and understanding.
Do you feel the same?
I've often felt that the anonymity has a lot to do with it:
I you tell a friend one of your secret thoughts,they might look shocked,or gasp.
but on here you always have little buffer zone.
I also think that a lot of people have nowhere else to turn (except to their "friends" on Q&A)
So let's give sympathetic replies
NO they're not SAAAAD.They've nowhere else to turn.

I have a good friend and co-worker who is overweight and not very attractive. She could be pretty if she took more care of her appearance, but she does not brush her teeth, comb her hair, or wear nice, clean clothes. It's one thing when we're chit-chatting at work, but she is always pushing for me to go out with her, for margaritas after work, or to the casino. To be honest, I am embarrased to go out with her. I did go out with her once, and it was so ackward for both of us... the guys were all hitting on me and barely noticing her, even though she is single and I am married (and I had my wedding ring on, of course!) It is not a question of money since we both make the same salary... I think she is just clueless! I tried to help her to change but she said - this is who I am. Does anyone have a friend like this? Am I shallow to be embarrased to be seen with her? What would you do in these circumstances?
