I am a female, am in my mid 30's have two children, own my home-car....etc... Met a guy 7 1/2 yrs younger... am I too old for him?? While I am worried about a mortgage and raising children he is young, single, and responsibility free....

dating this younger man is alright, since it's only dating. if hes immature, the signs would show soon when and if you bring him home to meet the kids, which is not advisable since you don't know for sure if he's here to stick around for long.

you won't be too old for him if you two connect and of the same intellectual par. ask how he feels about children. if he says he hates them, then obviously you need to let him go since you have two of your own and you come in a package. if he says he likes them, and you two have been dating for awhile, ask him to join you for a family picnic or carnival or something. see how he reacts and acts around your kids.

you can gauge from there if he sincerely likes you or simply wanted to fool around with an older woman. keep in mind not to pin your hopes too high, too.
