Check to see what makeup she's almost out of, and buy her a new bottle or bottles (depending on how much you want to spend). Most women I know will put off replacing makeup because it's expensive and they don't think they should spend the money on themselves. I also like the manicure/pedicure spa idea.

Write I love you mom in the sand on the beach including the water, sand with writing, maybe some shells under it. Take a digital pic and frame it. Moms like sentimental You could take her to starbucks for coffee and whip it out there. Moms also like it when you include them on your outings, spoil her!

Buy her a watch and roses no way roses can go wrong ( unless they are allergic lol ) u can also write a long letter with your emotions practically writen on the page i did thjat once,,,,,,....... my mom cried :)
