I know its just our human nature but why????
Do oyu think its because were so use to working for everything that when its just given to us it doesnt see as important???Why cant we just be satisfied with where were at???

get my cat to eat less beings that I live with my boyfriend's mom ~ she feeds ALL the cats, we have 3 in the house & she puts out a BIG bowl of dry food for ALL day & she feeds them wet food every morning ~ my cat eats ALL damn day on the dry food ~ his mom will NOT take anything away, how can I get around this?

Ok, here's the break down. Currently I am living w/ my boyfriend at his parents' house. We always help w/ groceries and offer to help w/ rent because his parents are constantly struggling for money. It bugs me because they spend money on things like beer and other things that they don't really need, and then they bicker about being broke. We help whenever they need it. However, around this time last year they threatened to kick us out many times for no reason at all. We got sick of it and moved out. We ended up moving back in a few months later due to a crisis at our apartment. Everything seemed fine until this past weekend when my boyfriend's sister told us that his parents have been saying the same old things. Yesterday, his parents apologized to both of us and said that they just said those things cuz they were drunk and they are having a hard time right now, and they just wanted to make somebody else's life miserable. But why us?! We have done nothing but try to help!

We have a 1920's style Tudor colonial w/stucco that desperately needs new windows and a paint job. We are trying to figure out what kind of windows to put in that would keep the home's style, without breaking the entire bank, we aren't necessarily looking for the "cheapest" option. We have seen a couple of different window companies, renewal by anderson, trimline and alside were ones that we have all seen and have estimates for all 3. Anyone have any opinions either way on any of the three companies we have listed below.

I have seven children, ranging in age from 3 years old to 19. Inevitably I encounter people who seem hostile to me. I truly have no clue why someone would be angry.

I am not, nor have I ever been, on welfare. I am college educated, and have a very strong marriage and faith in God. My children are well behaved, some of them home schooled but some are in public school. I pay taxes; I work for a living; I spend time with my children. My oldest serves in the armed forces.

When some people find out the number of children I have they ask rude questions such as, "why would you need/want so many children, do you have a farm to run?"

Each of my children will be college educated and productive members of society if I have anything to say about it. Many are on the honor roll, and volunteer in church.

So what gives?

Me & my cousin are always having big conversations & debates about all sorts of topics.
My cousin is a very intelligent girl so i tend to just sit and ask the Q's while she gives the A's.
However, we where talking about the queen the other day & the level of power she has, my cousin seems to think she has very little power because we're a democracy & have a government etc...

OK, looking for simple recipes that are quick and easy. I'm tired of making the same things (spaggetti, goulash, pizza, burgers, hot dogs) just looking for some really good recipes that are easy and dont take forever. ...then shouldn't we as a society outlaw some other marriages, as well? i.e., people who are infertile, people who choose not to have children, the use of birth control should not be allowed among married couples because it limits/prevents a chance of conception. Elderly couples, of course, should have their marriages annulled as soon as the woman reaches menopause and can no longer bear children?

I love my fiancee. She's the greatest thing to me. Her mother....is a different story. I never had a bad relationship with her mother. She was friendly and we joked around. Now, I'm engaged to her daughter and things were still fine until planning the wedding. She doesn't have any money but is making some serious demands about the wedding and I disagreed being I'm paying for it. Now, I'M the bad guy. What's worse, my fiancee is taking her side on anything. It seems that she puts her before me. I am the kind of man that will put my wife first. She is giving me the impression that her mother, and her opinion, comes first. I'm concerned because I would like to be put first as well. In her eyes, her mother can do NO WRONG. If I disagree with her mothers opinion, my fiancee and I get into an arguement. It's insane! All because I disagreed with her opinion. What should I do?
