I like comedies. Watch anything you think is outrageously funny (i.e. American Pie, Van Wilder, Austin Powers, The Sweetest Thing, etc.).
At the very least, it'll give your eyes a break from crying and get your mind off your ex. Romantic movies will only remind you of them. Horror films will make you want to have someone next to you. Action movies are another good alternative (i.e. Blade, Con-Air, Pirates of the Carribean) as are cartoons (Finding Nemo, The Lion King, Toy Story, Ice Age, Incredibles, Shrek, etc.)
