I'm very active in my church, as a Sunday School teacher, a leader in the Men's Ministry, AWANA (a children's outreach program; it's pretty cool), member of a couple of committees, running the projector on occasion, volunteering for various community outreach programs whenever I can, singing in the choir, and am part of the prayer ministry one hour a week and the entire Sunday morning service one weekend a month. In addition I'm a Gideon (hand out New Testaments and place Bibles in hotels, schools, nursing homes, hospitals, etc), and am the Treasurer of my camp. I'm also the admin of 3 Christian websites.

None of you know me, so understand I'm not blowing my own horn. I do want to serve and enjoy it very much. I've wondered though if I'm blocking someone else from a blessing. If you ask that people think "oh my goodness we're burning him out" and will go under-manned rather than ask for help. It bothers me. Have any of you ran across something like this, and how would you handle it?

In multicellular organisms(specifically of the Kingdom Anamalia), how did random mutations create input systems(senses) and difference engines(brains, or their primitive equivalent)? If the mutated individual is to benifit from a sensory mutation such that it was more successful at producing offspring, would it not require some sort of difference engine to interpret and act on the incoming messages? Inversely, how would an individual benifet from a mutation that produced a crude semblence of data processing(the odds of such an occurance are quite remote, I might add), if it did not posess any sort of sensory system, including nerve conections?
The only way these would benifet an organsim would be for both "brain" and senses to apear simultaneously in not only the same species, but the same individual. How is such a statistically improbable event possible?

Imagine the benefits of a religion that can keep up with the times; one that can 'evolve' if you'll permit me to use such an expression. One that doesn't get bogged down with archaic principles that become obsolete once a certain level of knowledge has been attained. A religion that encourages and nurtures technological progress instead of fearing it.

Is such a thing possible?

I remember it had the lyrics (roughly) of:
"It was me in that room, but you couldn't see me
Too many lights out
Explosions"

It got airplay on Radio1 and just about everywhere else, so someone is bound to have it.

Think it came out last summer or springtime.

Been buggin' me for months now and I'm hoping to nab it o itunes but I don't know the name!

Would really appreciate the help

Cheers

I have a 7 year old brother who is an identical twin. He has ADHD. He has to repeat the 1st grade. He is currently on Ritalin. He never listens to anybody, and when he doesn't get his way, he throws tantrums or hits/kicks people or destroy things. For example, today at the amusement park, he was told to sit down, so he proceeded to scream and jump from table to table. His brother refused to give him the rest of his snack, so he hit him. I am at a loss of what to do to deal with him. Keep in mind I have autism/Asperger's and bipolar; so my cooping skills aren't great.

I ust learned from my denist that I need to have my wisdom teeth taken out. She said first I will need to go to an orthodontist and he can see weather I should have them taken out before I have braces put on or after the braces are off? I am just so terrified of the experience. What does the oral surgeon do? I have heard that they put you to sleep with using nitrogen or they inject your veins with something? Are you completely asleep throughout the whole ordeal? How long does take for a person to wake up after the procdure is over with? Does the oral surgeon give you something for the pain afterwards? I am just so terrified right now. My parents and I are deciding if I do need to have them taken out it will be in mid July. It will help me if you told me if people told me their experience when they had their wisdom teeth scared.
