are only revieved after you die?

if you had an adult who had never even heard of god, how long would it take to convince him that there was one, that you need to obey him, you can't sin, and you must have faith that he exists without concrete proof, and your rewards for living by his rules were only available to you after death?

I can't recall the title or singer of a particular song. The song is about an astronaut going into space and then experiencing problems in his craft. I recall the astonaut and the craft are lost towards the end of the song.

It's not Major Tom by D. Bowie. I think the song was sung by a female vocalist, in a style perhaps similar to that of Karen Carpenter. Please answer if you have any ideas. Thank you

i know the term is "tickle torture"....and I'm not talking about the myths of what was allegedly the case in china...but is there actually a case where "tickle torture" can be fun?...for example, you getting tickled by a group of friends, tickled by your mate, (boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, wife.)....the reason I ask, cause typically when you are being tickled it is someone close to you...friends, relatives, mates...so in this context can tickle torture actually be enjoyable...right?....explain your answer

Ok, everyone on here always preaches Adoption vs Abortion, or should i say Adoption OVER Abortion. Now, has anyone ever thought about how many children are STILL stuck in Group homes/Foster homes, are RAISED in the government system until they are old enough for them to throw them out into the world because they never got adopted? i could never even opt for adoption as i am not that kind of person. I mean, i can't even leave my dog outside if it's raining, imagine giving my child that i made, to a total stranger and never ever knowing what will happen or years down the road, what happened to my child that i gave up because i didn't want him/her. Yes, there are certain situations that are understandable, but me personally, I couldn't live with the guilt. On top of the fact that, what if i gave my child up and he/she is Never adopted? hmm, makes you think...

I'm looking for restaurants in the Montrose or Heights area of Houston that have good gluten-free vegetarian options (I do eat eggs and dairy). So far, I can eat at Chuy's, La Tapitia, and Hickory Hollow. Any others?

Thanks in advance!

do you think the united states should be taking legal action of some sort against china for all of this??? holding them responsible instead of menu foods?? or should menu foods get just as much blame for not checking well enough??? also... do you think these products that are affected are going to lose sales?? there were so many foods involved this time, do you think they all will suffer a loss in sales or do you think people will still buy them???

Has anyone heard of United Credit Association? They are a credit repair agency. I want to know if those agencies are legal and if they really can repair your credit. My realtor recommended it to me because they had a meeting with some realtors in Houston, TX and they guaranteed to fix your credit in 6 months.

Ok so my BF and I have been together now for 6 months and things are alright. The thing that is the problem though as I have had seen this and gone throught it in the past is, In the beginging and wooing stages of my relationships the guy is wonderful, giving, taking me out, little nice things all the way. However once they get comfortable and know that I am so for them and in love with them all that stops? What is the deal ? I know this is concidered the "honeymoon" stage where life is grand and your on cloud nine. I just dont get it though. I am a giver and love to do so all the time weather it is gifts, or tokens of affection. I just tend to get burnt and do not recieve as much as I give nor even get a little back in return. I fell give and take is important. Equality. SO how do I let my BF know this with out blowing his ego or making him think he has to do as much as I do. AND can you explain why you guys tend to do this the slacking off bit? Mature anwsers Please Thank you.

Hi,

I would greatly appreciate some help. I am a teacher filling in for a Spanish class on an emergency basis until the end of the year. I don't speak a word of Spanish. We're running a video, and I grade tests and quizzes based on what is in the answer key.

I recently gave a test, and every one of the students (only 3 kids) got it wrong, and they all wrote the same answer. I don't know if it's just a common mistake or if the answer key is wrong and I should mark the question correct. Here's the question:

"Give the verb form which corresponds to the subject in parentheses"

(Ellas) traer.

All the students put "traen", but the answer key says "prefieren". It doesn't seem to me like the answer key is right, but I would like to make sure. If the answer key is wrong, then is "traen" the right answer, or is something else correct?

Thanks.

I sent a formal cover letter and resume out last week and had a job interview with the company this week. In the cover letter, I wrote 'Dear Ms. Smith'. However, at the job interview, she introduced herself as Beckie. Now I want to send a 'Thank you' note to her, so that she will remember me during her employment selection. My question is should I start the letter with 'Dear Ms. Smith' or 'Dear Beckie'? I don't want to seem overly formal since the interview went well and she was friendly but I don't want to seem too informal either, like she's a friend I've known for years.

Thanks for any advice that you may have!
