How about I provide a sensible answer. I have an irregular cycle and my husband and I tried for 8 mos. to conceive with no luck, because it was impossible to predict when I was ovulating. Then we bought an over-the-counter ovulation detection kit (works just like a pee-on-the-stick pregnancy test) and conceived THAT MONTH. So yes, it is absolutely possible, it's just a little harder to predict.

I also have very irregular periods. There are a few options available to you. You can have sex every other day to try to conceive, however if that's all you are doing it for you might feel discouraged and exhausted. Another option is fertility monitoring, you can buy the tests that you urinate on in the morning but because you are irregular you will find your self doing this every morning. There is also keeping track of your basal body temperature. Before you get up out of bed take your temperature and look for high points to determine ovulation. And of course you can see a doctor to see what he/she might recommend.

I had very irregular peiords. For example I didnt have one for 5 months then had one ever other week for 4 months. My doc put me on a pill called provera. It regulated my period then I was put on Clomid. Yours just may just be a matter of tracking your dates and using an ovulation calculater and montior. Go to
http://www.fertilityfriend.com/
This is a site that you can track our periods and find out when your most fertile days are. If that dosent work after a few months then consult your doc.

Yes, I did. Use ovulation tracking devices such as the kits at Walgreens, a basal thermometer, etc. to try and figure out when you're ovulating. Also, my husband's solution was to have sex as often as possible, which ended up working out.

You bet cha! Just enjoy the time you have being able to have sex whenever and where ever you want - after that baby is born you wont have that luxury anymore. Have it a couple times a day! :)

Possibly, yes. You need to chart your basal body temps to ensure you are at leat occassionally ovulating.
Also, you should definantly see your OB/Gyn for further advice.
