I ( taurus) met a guy ( capricorn) and he and I started talking. B4 he and i had done anything, he had told me that he had just gotten out of a long relationship and he was already talking to another female. I assumed they were casual phone buddies. He and I had sex, right afterward, he told me that he had been married but was seperated. He had also begun to have sex with the other girl ( phone buddy), while he was having sex with me. One day he tells me that he wants me to get tested. I asked him why and he gets all offended and tells me that he doesn't know who I am having sex with. Maybe a month later, he tells me that he has a friend that he wants to hook me up with b/c he is developing stronger feelings for the other girl. I am extremely hurt. Then he tells me the reason he wanted me to get tested was because he and the other girl were having unprotected sex, he and i had only had unprotected sex once. Why does he want me to be with his friend why doesn't he jus break it off?

Hi guys, do you think this intro is good for my english assessment or is to broad or too plain. Should i add something or remove somthing....what do you think....

Here it is:

The 17th century. “What was it like?”, you may ask. Arguments over religious beliefs, poor people working for rich people, the plague, natural disasters, sexual advances, poverty, disrespect for the poor and accidents in the workplace. Does a sigh escape your mouth as you contemplate these touchy matters? Perhaps the first thought that hits you is “that was way back in the past”. Unfortunately, many do not realise that these issues are still present in many parts of our world today. The 21st century.

It's kind of a comedy/death/fiction. Recent release I think, in all major book stores in the USA but I just came back to the UK and can't find it.

It has just been made into a TV series. If anybody has any suggestions please let me know. I wanted to get it as a gift!
