To me, it's like having to live in what I even consider to be "discount Europe". I guess it's my cross to bear. LOL! I'm not even Christian! LOL

Hey, more snow today!

If you even look at me wrong, I will report you!

By the way, isn't it odd that I will lecture you and threaten you when you mention Jesus, but I will carry on and on about Thor and other mythology? I'm just plain weird sometimes!

I've lived in Iceland since I was born. Not literally of course, but spiritually. If you tell yourself it's true enough times, it becomes true so I don't feel I'm lying.

If you look at ME wrong, I will do more than report you, I'll whip out my gun and shoot you in the behind. I've done that a lot you know! Not literally of course, but spiritually.

A place I've always wanted to see. Nothing weird about Thor, the Sagas are always interesting and mysterious. Be happy you live in discount Europe, the rest of the world belongs to Disney Inc.

I am reading about a dig in Iceland at the minute... The Myvatn Lake is about close enough,as my map doesn't show the dig site at Hrisheimar.. It is on the northern coast... It is so cold and basically a waste land.. Iceland was discovered by Gardar Svavarsson sometime in the 860's AD.. Having a similar climate to Norway, and the fact that he was no longer wanted in Norway, so to say, he / they settled...I am of Norse decent, but am a 7th generation Australian...Lots of other bits in me now...I still feel the urge to go to Norway before my time runs out...I could never live in Iceland or Norway, I am toooo acclimatised to my country... Blessed Be.. )O(

Iceland is gorgeous. It produces less global warming (the volcanic hot springs, etc. heat homes, buildings), the people are very nice. The language is the closest to Old Norse. Everyone who is able to, should experience Iceland. (There's a great web site, Icelandic Sagas which has everything on the early writings eg. 'Snorri's Saga'.)

The snows are finally melted here, the sun is out and my bulps have pushed up from under their leaf blankets.

Vacination are widespread care with socialized drugs. they only have not got as many. Autism is declared with adverse genetics, and icelandic human beings have astounding genetic textile. No connection has ever been made between vaccinations and autism.

I would love to live in Iceland, although I've heard the language is among the most difficult to learn. The landscape is beautiful, the women are hubba-hubba gorgeous and everyone's name ends in dottir. How cool is that?
