My 3 year old has the worst dry skin ever. I put baby oil, lotion, dry skin cream... I have tried so many different kinds of lotion. Doctor said that it was eczema (skin hardening, scaling and cracking) when she was younger and wanted me to put hydrocortisone 1% cream on it twice per day but I have heard that it can thin her skin and give her more chances of getting skin cancer at a later age. She cries and makes herself bleed from scratching so much. Help! Does anyone know what could help my little girl?

The Dead Are Unconscious.

The condition of the dead is made clear at Ecclesiastes 9:5, 10, where we read: “The dead know nothing . . . There is no pursuit, no plan, no knowledge or intelligence, within the grave.” (Moffatt) Death, therefore, is a state of nonexistence. The psalmist wrote that when a person dies, “he goes back to his ground; in that day his thoughts do perish.”—Psalm 146:4.So the dead are unconscious, inactive. When pronouncing sentence upon Adam, God stated: “Dust you are and to dust you will return.” (Genesis 3:19) Before God formed him from the dust of the ground and gave him life, Adam did not exist. When he died, Adam returned to that state.
There is hope for those who have died the bible promises. Almighty God has not only the power but also the desire to resurrect persons whom he chooses. Jesus Christ himself said: “Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.”—John 5:28, 29

We don't even know who wrote the book, and we cant even authenticate parts of it, and yet we attach ourselves to the book (some even take its words literally) that has little or no affiliation to god.

Yes, it talks about jesus, but could it just have been a madman's rantings about a martyr? Not only that but how do we even know if god would have wanted us to study this text (just because the bible says so is not an accurate enough source, don't forget it was wrought by human hands)

And finally, would god want us to do what we do because we take a book so literally?? (ie sins of sodom, yes i know there is a leviticus verse saying something along the lines "no man shall lie next to another like a woman" but how can we verify this is what god would have wanted??

I have had this cat for almost a year, he is about 14 months old, and in spite of all I've tried, he is practically too wild to be a pet. He is from an animal shelter, taken from his mother far too early, and is extremely antisocial. He never wants to be petted unless he's asleep (and he's never asleep) and growls when I pick him up. I used to keep him inside with me, but he tears around all night, scratching things and meowing constantly. He also has a nasty habit of peeing on the bed when I don't clean his litterbox out often enough. I have been forced to move him out to the garage, which he hates (he hates being outdoors).

I have spoiled him more than any other cat I've owned, being very careful with his diet and buying him a carpet tower and toys, and I've tried to train him to be nice, but he's still too wild. Any suggestions to help curb this noxious behavior? Or is it impossible and I should resign myself to owning an outdoor, unsociable cat? (He is neutered but not decawed.)

I'm a high school student in Pusan, Korea REP.
As I heard about the tragic deaths at Virginia univ,
thought that It's just a shock for me and badly impacted on my heart.
And since I know the criminal was a Korean-American,
I've felt I do this crime.
But, the criminal is just a criminal.
Though his life was miserable,
He shot at many innocences indiscriminately.- How a wicked man he is!

Actually, I have a very important exam for my life.
But I decided I must send this writing to the world including the men of other days.
Though the incident happend in the opposite side of the Earth,
I'm really cherishing the memory of a deceased person.

But, everybody!
Although The criminal is a Korean-American,
Please don't make the whole people from Korea open to criticism.
Of course, It is natural we blame for Cho, the criminal,
Our Korean are doing a lot of ceremonies cherishing the memory of a deceased person.
And we wished for the men of other days to pray for the happiness

my wife was going on a field trip with my daughter today and last night she asked if she could use the digital camera that belongs to my work (which i do not own). i had some picture on the camera i would be downloading for a report and said i really couldn't allow her to borrow it. I am allowed to bring the camera home and it has kept us from buying one on our own. i bring it home on weekends and often during the week. She also has taken to using my cell phone (again we personally don't own one) when she goes shopping or on small day trips. The phone is on the blink and i didn't offer for her to use it because i was going to take it back to our IT guy today and ask him to have it fixed. She was upset i didn't offer the phone and also upset i didn't offer the camera. i will be needing the camera and so said i was selfish and couldn't believe i refused her. what if my boss said, go take a picture, today and i didn't have the camera. What am i going to say...my wife has it?
