I fail to understand a culture that demands you go to church, and if you dont you are treated with deep suspicion, yet

They condone execution for example, how do they balance that with their god. Would Jesus have signed an execution paper or given the accused the chance to redeem themselves in prison?

I am not religious but am spiritual and and have empathy to my fellow man, and am staunchly against execution

i don't remember this movie's name, but i remember seeing it. the beginning starts out with a cult being led by some guy, who ultimately kills the whole cult by baptising them in gasoline and then lighting them all on fire.

one woman actually escapes and throughout the movie is haunted by dreams and things of this cult leader trying to kill her or something.

For along time now I have wondered Why won't Andy Rooney, you know the guy at the end of the 60 Minutes TV show, trim his eyebrows. I have emailed the show and he won't answer. So if you guys have any ideas as to why, maybe you could help me figure this out.
He must realize it makes him look feeble minded.

Obviously, I don't think this is any substitue for an acutal doctor, I just like to have an idea of what the doc will say before I go. :)

-Headache
-Mild Fatigue
-Stuffy Nose
-Post Nasal Drip
-Nasal discharge is mainly clear, occasionally a little green
-I little sinus pressure, but not similar to sinus infections I've had in the past.
-I think I may have had a slight fever yesterday, but I don't think so today.

Cold? Flu? Allergies? Sinus Infection? All?

I got a letter from AKC stating that a bill would soon pass requiring all dogs be spade and neutered, unless you get a permit.
Does anyone think this is a terrible idea? Is it wrong to rip out animal organs to justify inept owners that can't to control their animals.
Also it seems the only ones to benefit would be the government and vets for the money they will get from this.

And do you wonder how anyone can possibly think it's worthwhile or quality programming? There is nothing meaningful to be had here-it's all shallow, cheesy and incredibly bad tast. Chintzy looking gold chairs-men still wearing '70s-style leisure suits, and women with strangely colored hair so big it needs to have it's own zip code? It's like Jim and Tammy Faye-only twice as bad. I would think it would turn people away from Christianity altogether-it's quite obvious these people just want your cash.

I'm going through a divorce and I'm sick of people asking me if I am sure....do I still love him, etc, etc. They don't know me or the circumstances of my situation. What is a polite but firm way to end their questioning? These aren't people close to me....
