This stems from a story on the news tonight about a pedofile that admitted before and during his release that he WILL reoffend, yet the community aren't informed!? Are we violating these violators rights? They probably should have thought of that before taking all those children's rights away..

It is such an eye sore to go outside on a beautiful sunny day, just to see a pile of garbage burning in the yard next to mine. He doesn't even put it in a barrel or anything, just right on the ground. The grass is dead and there are ashes all around. This is a beautiful neighborhood around here except the big black burnt pile of garbage right off the road (when it's not on fire). This aggrivates me so bad. Not only does it look bad but think of how it's affecting the enviroment. Please, if there is any law or regulations or anything, please let me know?

My dad is having a surprise birthday party in a couple of weeks and i want to get him something which he can keep.

His hobbies are narrow boats and fishing but he has everything he needs. If he sees something he wants he just gets it.

I have garage sales from time to time and invariable an antique dealer or collector will stop. They usually ask for things that aren't out for sale like old camera equipment, china with flowers on it or furniture. Then I knock myself out lugging the stuff out from the house only to be told "Oh, that isn't what I'm really looking for." Why don't they be specific, then? Like old Polaroid cameras before 1912 or china marked Limoges? Then I could tell them right away if I had it or not.

im trying to write a java application that will write text to a file located on a server.. i knw applets cannot write to files unless they r signed.. so im tryna do it thru an application. i knw they different, but i sorta wanna try write somethin to the file on the server.. i have a function called post().
public void post()
{
//must i use url ?
//wat bout printwriter?
}
im familiar with writing files locally, but not to servers.. file name is located at /tmp/comments/txt on server.
and text to rite to file is called String text.
any help?

Keep in mind that a ban on alcohol has been tried, and with disasterous results.

Also, keep in mind that most of these student deaths are from alcohol obtained illegaly. (Have to be over 21 to legally drink.)

Do we need tougher alcohol control? Should we ban it? (Even though the ban failed in the past?)
