I like the heavy's more so I would pick the classic 747-100 loud smoky, environmental unfrendly and old people hate it when it flys over their homes.

1. Boeing 757-200 (-232 in particular (Delta))
2. Boeing 777-200ER (-223ER, American Airlines)
3. Embraer 175 (Air Canada)
4. McDonnell Douglas MD-88 (Delta, of Course)
5. Boeing 747-400 (-41R, Virgin Atlantic)
6. Airbus A319-100 (US Airways)
7. McDonnell Douglas MD-82 (American)
8. Airbus A320-200 (no airline in particular)
9. Embraer ERJ-145 (Chatauqua)
The only other jet aircraft I have been on were couple of Airbus A340-300s of Virgin Atlantic. I did not like the A340s very much. I was also on a B737-300 of US Airways a long time ago, and I don't remember it that well. I think I might have been on a CRJ (of Air Canada) and an A310 of Delta a very long time ago, and I really couldn't tell you if that was right or not. On the Delta flight, I remember the seat layout in economy was 2-4-2 (or something like that), but I remember someone telling me that it was a MD-88, but it couldn't have been. These flights were in the early 1990s.

Since I work in the production of the 737, I would have to say it is my favorite. But the next design of the 737 will have some newer changes to it especially with the technology that is coming out on the 787. Carbon fiber fuselage.

Those are all expensive, heavy airplanes. they all seem the same to me. BTW, a Boeing 747 isn't technically a jet. Jets are normally much smaller. My favourite jet is the F-22 Raptor

I agree with Jutt-you ask what's our favorite JET, then give only a tiny list (of airliners) to choose from.
Mine is the Messerschmitt Me262, truly the granddaddy of all jet fighters. First to use axial-flow engines (superior to centrifugal-flow engines) and swept wings, its shark-like appearance made it look every bit the jet fighter, and the nose-mounted 20mm cannon gave it some nasty 'teeth'. Too little too late though-fortunate for the Allies.

I have always been very partial to the 747 over the others on your list. The two decks and large size has always got my attention.

Those giant jets are all VERY impressive but I like the Fighters.
My favorite is the F-14 Tomcat by Grumman. Its old school now but its service record, versatility and dependability is amazing. And come on...who did'nt like the jet scenes from that cheezy movie Top Gun?
