I had my gallbladder removed 1.5 yrs. ago. Just a few months after its removal I began having painful attacks like I suffered w/ my gallbladder. I have had IBS w/ painful gas & extreme bloating since age 16. I’m 39 and still suffer from IBS, but I don’t believe that it is causing these attacks. I believe I have at least 2 separate problems (1 being IBS) & that they may tend to aggravate 1 another. I’ve also been diagnosed with acid reflux. I took Nexium for awhile. I felt it made me experience acid reflux more often. When I have the attacks, no meds really help. I’ll drink a bunch of Maalox or even take a magnesium tablet; helps maybe a bit. The pain is accompanied by what feels like a lot of liquid in my upper abdomen, like I just drank a gallon water. During these attacks,upper abdomen incredibly tender. I’ve scheduled for a colonoscopy, upper GI, & small bowels follow thru. Is it sphincter of oddi (SOD) dysfunction? Stones in bile duct? What tests would I need to have?

I guess not. i keep ignoring girls( meaning, ignoring with my eyes) because i'm kind of depressed about girls. I'm a quiet (really quiet)person and most american and even mexican american girls just like the life of the party kind of guys. I'm latino by the way.

Anyways, i never make eyes contact.. and if i see a girl.. i just turn around, turn my head down. or my eyes away. So there's never an eye connection.

Impossible that someone may be attracted? I guess it is.. cause i keep hearing they llike confidence. which means they do only like the life of the party guys after all.
What do you thnk?

I see no reason we need to foot the bill for congressional vacations....uhm 'junkets'. Their job is to legislate--I don't see how spending $10,000/hr to fly to a 5 star resort will related to their job function at all. How stupid do they think we are?

No wonder they don't want to fund the troops, there wouldn't be enough left over for their vacations.

If anyone could find out WHICH congresspersons went on vacation on our dime, please post it for me. I've been looking and haven't found it (yet). I'd like to write to each of them and most respectfully express my displeasure.............especially if they are from my state.........

Can you overcharge rechargeable batteries? I use a recharger for electronics like my computer mouse, etc. so when the batteries die, I swap them out with the batteries in the charger. But, it only takes a few hours for the dead batteries to charge, and weeks for the charged batteries to die. So, I am leaving fully charged batteries in the charger for several weeks before changing them out. Is this okay, and if not, will they lose their charge if they are taken out of the charger but not used for several weeks?

there is a robin that keeps trying to get in my kid's bedroom window it will sit on the edge of the window or in the tree that is right next to it for hours and try to fly in we had the same problem with a cardinal at another house and it was only on the kid's bedroom window. I tried covering the window but this did not work i cannot think of anything inside that is attracting the birds.

heard this one a while ago over a few bevie's and just thought ouch what you think?
A guy walks into a bar with his pet monkey. He orders a drink and while he's drinking, the monkey starts jumping all over the place. The monkey grabs some olives off the bar and eats them, then grabs some sliced limes and eats them, then jumps up on the pool table, grabs the cue ball, sticks it in his mouth and swallows it whole.

The bartender screams at the guy, "Did you see what your monkey just did?" The guy says, "No, what?" "He just ate the cue ball off my pool table - whole!" says the bartender.

"Yeah, that doesn't surprise me", replies the patron. "He eats everything in sight, the little twerp. I'll pay for the cue ball and stuff." He finishes his drink, pays his bill, and leaves.

Two weeks later he's in the bar again, and he has his monkey with him. He orders a drink and the monkey starts running around the bar again.

While the man is drinking, the monkey finds a maraschino cherry on the bar. He grabs it, sticks it up his butt, pulls it out, and eats it. The bartender is disgusted. "Did you see what your monkey did now?" "Now what?" asks the patron.

"Well, he stuck a maraschino cherry up his butt, then pulled it out and ate it!" says the barkeeper.

"Yeah, that doesn't surprise me", replies the patron. "He still eats everything in sight, but ever since he ate that damn cue ball he measures everything first!"

I was butt buddies with this guy four years ago but we are still friends (and if i want i can still call for the butt) but i don't...so my friend sees him on my friend's list and says he is fine and remember the stories i've told about him...so i go to her house and she is on the computer with him (she wrote him first)...so she tells him that i am there and i start talking to him on instant messenger since i haven't spoken to him in a minute...i've known this girl since 7th grade....SO
1. should i be more upset than what i am...i think they are two grown people (me and the guy never had a relationship)...but i was surprised when i saw that she was talking to him
2. Is she really my friend...he asked me if it was cool and said if i didn't want him to speak to her anymore he would stop the conversation...she has yet to ask me
3.or should i say whatever and have with both of them....

I once had little, then had none, now have some, but want more. I am a very scientific type, have a hard time with many religious beliefs but am very willing and trying to have an open mind. I once had no faith, in fact I was a very angry and defient person all around. Life got impossibly miserable for me and forced me into resonableness. I now have the willingness to believe, I asked "god" for help, help came, I was dragged from my own personal hell by a force I cannot understand or wrap my mind around. I want to be sure I am following the right road, I ask for help and guidence daily. I would like some input into how others have built there faith and what to expect. I do read the bible. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I have a pleco about 6 inches long, he lives in a 30gallon tank with 1 sanil, 5 ghost shrimp, 15 or so guppy fry, 5 adult guppies, 2 angel fish, and 10 tetras. I do regualr water changes of about 20% each weekend. I have three plants in the tank and a fake bush. My Q is should I give him the waffers or just let him eat what he finds? See I gave him 2 waffers and in the morning one hadn't been touched and the other just had about a 1/4 of it missing(i think that was do to the shrimp)


Also my water looks murky even though it's been established for 4 months I don't want to add chemicals to it and the color of the water looks to be a milky green looking what can I do. Or is it just that way from the light reflecting off of my rocks (river rock) with the green plants I have in there?

I'm 16 so in depth detailed answers would be nice
