I guess not. i keep ignoring girls( meaning, ignoring with my eyes) because i'm kind of depressed about girls. I'm a quiet (really quiet)person and most american and even mexican american girls just like the life of the party kind of guys. I'm latino by the way.
Anyways, i never make eyes contact.. and if i see a girl.. i just turn around, turn my head down. or my eyes away. So there's never an eye connection.
Impossible that someone may be attracted? I guess it is.. cause i keep hearing they llike confidence. which means they do only like the life of the party guys after all.
What do you thnk?

i kinda have the same problem myself and ive found that just looking into someones eyes briefly ,looking away and looking back again and then away again works, it gets the message across that ure interested but just a little shy . Also u could just start off by being friends with the girl to build ure confidence, as romantic feelings can make u even more anxious ,so just take it slowly and relax and with time u will get better at it

Lots of girls like shy guys, but a lot of the time, it's the shy girls who do, so you could have a problem there. A girl could be attracted to you, but nothing's going to happen unless you become friends with them. Looking somebody in the eyes can be harder than a lot of people think. Try it. It may only be for a second, but over time, it gets easier. Being comfortable with who you are is more important than confidence in social situations, and often, the latter comes with the former. Take heart, you can do it!

Eye contact is really important in order to make a connection with someone. Why should you be so afraid to look at a woman? They say the eyes are the windows to the soul and avoidance of eye contact shows you are afraid to let anyone find out who you really are. First, have a nice long look in the mirror and get to know yourself. Tell yourself "I am a wonderful person", "I am a very good looking" and MEAN it. Until you can look at yourself without passing judgements, you won't be comfortable letting anyone else in.
When you are ready, remember that making eye contact is ok. No one will hurt you with a look. Good luck in everything :)

I have a beleif that there is a girl out there that has everything you got on her "things to look for in a boyfriend". The problem lays in the fact that if you cant make eye contact with her. or talk to her. Also if you look at them you can see if they like you.
Just realise that you have something to offer, but if you dont flaunt it a bit you will never get anyone to notice ya.

i think that it would be very impossible that there has ever been a girl on here asking "why does he stare at me?" and it being about you.
thank you for not staring us girls down like a piece of meat!!!
(just remember, when it comes down to a girl that you like, make some eye contact! don't go and look past her or all around her)

i think we need to get you a crew and a few friends that are girls so you can become comfortable around the female population beyond that you will do great, buck up bro i got faith in ya :).
