I just saw my son and a load of his boy and girl mates in the back garden, talking and laughing and chatting etc when a bit of a playfight erupted between two or three of the girls.
'cause my son knows that I frown on this (I have seen them going at it before!), he stands up and shouts 'GIVE IT A BREAST WILL YA'.
Fourteen pair of stunned eyes on him later, he's trying to explain that he wanted to say 'Give it a Break' or 'Give it a Rest' and had completely got the two endings of the sentences mixed up.
Class Freudian Slip and a total conversation stopper!
OR...'I'm going home to watch porn on the internet'. Said by a woman, this just makes people stop conversations mid-flow and stare at you.
Just before you get loads of offers to come with you...best chat up line for a woman EVER!

In my experience, to stop a conversation, you just slap the person. Not only do they sit there stunned for a few seconds, it is highly entertaining to take a picture of their face in that time.
Now, you have not only stopped the converstion, you can use the picture to stop later ones!

I was out for a dinner at a friend's once and her 16 year old brother was there too - and I was chatting to him (I was doing all the talking) and then I realised he was giving himself a hand job - I was completely shocked. I couldn't speak for about ten minutes - and I couldn't say anything to my friend (she'd been out of the room while this was happening) and I had to sit next to him and pretend to enjoy the meal. I left before dessert.
