Im so stuck in my life at the moment. My parents never really loved or cared about me. I moved away from them when i was 15 to live with my then boyfriend. I thought i would be with him forever, he ended up being abusive and i ended up getting into a very controlling realationship. I had an abortion at 16 on xmas eve which i will never get over. We broke up on valentines day this year. I currently with my nan who drives me insane! I can honestly i have neverfelt so alone in my life, any guy doesnt compare with my ex i just dont know where my life is going all i seem do is wake up. go to work, sleepand do it all over again i do have friends but they all have boyfriends which make me depressed i just feel really low and have lost all my confidence i just dont know what do with myself any more. I want to meet someone but i dont know if this is the time for me to do so how could i begin to think of lovingsomeone else when i dont love myself? Any advice would be great.

I've been dating my boyfriend for almost 2 years now. We've known each other for awhile, and my mom really likes him. My parents are really religious though (pentecostal) and I know they'll be disappointed when I tell them. I'm currently in college, ending my freshman year and I intend to return after next year, so I'll be back for what would be my junior year. I was just wondering if anyone has gone through anything similar or has any advice on how to break the news in a gentler way... or maybe prepare me for what may be coming my way. Thanks!

my doctor had me on 800 mg of ibuprofen 3 times a day and this didnt fix anything. so he has told me i am now going to try prednisone. so i was wondering how much stronger prednisone is than ibuprofen? what would its mg dosage of ibuprofen be equal to? thanks!

if you are an evolutionist, please answer this question: how is evolution possible if everything developed gradually? let me clarify: aren't the reproductive, digestive, respiratory, and other organ systems VITAL to the continuing of life? if the "early organisms" had no reproduction capabilities, how did we come to be here? My husband has "anger/upset/depressive tendency's, his mom has mental illness and she gets to points to where she wants to kill herself could mental illness run in his family and could he have it to, if so what can I do to help him? My husband and I decided to move my 4 year old step-daughter in with us she has been living with us since January '07. We moved her in because her mother refused to put her in school and her mother has a total of 6 kids living in a two bedroom apartment ( with her "fiance"). Her mother is also a professional public aid recepient and has not worked the entire time I've known her. My husband still has child support payments being deducted from his paycheck. ok, so my dad is REALLY stuborn, and i HATE the laptop he bought around 6 months ago. It takes FOREVER to boot up, none of the programs work instantly, and we've done a system restore around 2 times already. i just HATE the laptop hw got, and i keep telling him that he could've gotten a laptop around twice as better(imo that is) for around the same price. i want to convince him to sell the laptop he has and to get a macbook, but how?

I'm doing a paper on how child development is marred by their conflicting parents. i found studies on how it affects infants and small children but not much on adolescents. I wanted to put how it affects children at different age groups but not many studies have been conducted on adolescents. Does anyone know how adolescents are affected, like how it affects them and what they do when their parents are constantly fighting around them? Even if it's just an idea, one that makes sense, it would be appreciated. thx:)
