The positive side of life is learning to love yourself, as you are, without judgment. You are perfect just the way you are. It is your option if you want to be defined by your height. Try defining yourself by some other characteristic. Your charm, your beauty, your intellect, your talents, your whatever. Actually, you are all of those things and much more. If others were to judge you by your height they will be missing the other parts of you. If you can accept yourself, just as you are, then others will accept you as well.

Good things come in small packages.
I've been the shortest (but smartest!) kid in the class ever since I started goin to school. I think it makes you less vulnerable when it come to cruel insults. I've been made fun of at school my whole life and some of the things they say are cruel and cold but I've learned to deal with it and now they don't affect me at all. Plus when you show them that you're better then them it's usually a shock. For example, since I'm the shortest I have the shortest legs but I'm the fastest in the class and I have the best endurance out of everyone. Just because you're short doesn't mean that everyone else is any better than you are and it doesn't mean that you going to have a small personality. I say be happy with who you are and what you can do. :-)

I was always the shortest in my class up until about 8th grade. In Grade 9 I finally started to grow and now I'm taller than almost all of my friends who all stopped growing when they were about 15. Being short now does not mean being short forever.

Well, sort of ...... you don't hit your head on open cupboard doors very often.
Just think of it though, there aren't too many positive things about being short (I know, I'm a short person), but there are a LOT of worse things. You could be deformed, for example.
Oh! I came up with another one actually. It is SO much easier to dance with a short guy than a tall one. Seriously. My boyfriend's a foot and change taller than me, and dancing with him is about the most awkward thing in the world. So there are big bonus romance points for shortness there.

When I was a young teenager, I received a new suit for church. Naturally, I outgrew it within a few months, so we gave it to the family of another teenager, who wore it for a few months, and it passed to another family.
Three years later, those two boys who had worn my used suit were four inches taller than me.
Males can continue to grow, and develop, until age 30. There are professional basketball players who did most of their growing after age 18.
One thing to remember is that all your growing and developing takes place at night, when you are sleeping, which is one reason for getting eight hours of sleep. It is also the time when your immune system regenerates and your brain sorts and stores everything you learned while awake.
Now, if you think perhaps you can do without some sleep, remember ALL development takes place at night.
So, if you think your tally whacker (3rd leg) is as long as you ever going to need it to be, go ahead and skip some sleep.

Michael J Fox is short, Justine Timberlake , tom cruise, my husband who I adore is short. If you don't see it others don't see it, any way its the guy who has a chip on his shoulder that goes thru life groaning about it that gives people the reason to think something is wrong with shorter. Walk Tall as a man cause its all in you!

Yes. There are two people shorter than you. Anyway, I always say that height is a state of mind. I am only 4'8 in the physical, but in the mind Mt. Everst does not have anything on me.

your bones arent going to deplete as fast as mine. Your back doesnt shatter everytime you have to pick something off of the ground. You can find close a lot easier than a tall person.
