Do you wear low-rse jeans or any kind of low-rise pants? If so why? Comfort? the way it looks? When you sit down do you feel like your revealing to much or can you not tell the difference. When your standing up do the pants sit on your waist or do they look like regular pants until you sit down. Also, is there a way to prevent your underwear from showing besides wearing a thong?

Hanging in a dead plant hanging basket ON MY PORCH! Apparently the sparrows enjoy my company. Five little babies are up there,completely silent...

and that's what worries me.

I've never seen silent baby birds. I took the nest down thinking the eggs had gone dead (I hadn't heard anything and I hadn't seen the parents there). And what do I see? Five little slightly feathery heads poking at me,mouthes wide open,wiggling all over the place.

So,I immediately put them back up-thankfully the sparrows aren't bothered by my scent,apparently,because I took it down accidentally once before (when I had no idea there was a nest up there and the little ones were still eggs).

The fact they made no noise worries me,though. Could it simply be they're too young? but as I said... I've never heard of a baby bird that wasn't loud and annoying. ^^

Does anyone feel that if everyone communicated with that kid the day of the shooting in a positive way, and complemented his shirt, or his shoes (even if it wasn't a nice pair of shoes or shirt) I just think instead of progressing we're taking 2 steps backwards...we're so focused on our own lives, we take liitle effort to acknowledge those around it. Just by reading the news, i can tell that kid went down the wrong path, because he was always alone....i dont think he chose to be alone, he was definitely depressed....to make someone recognise him, they labelled him the "question mark kid"....he wanted to be noticed, instead of being the quiet kid that no-body knows....so i guess he goes down a history, not in the least positive way

im using LO/OVRAL 28 (nongestrel and ethinyl tablets), i have been on the pill for almost 2 months now and i know that the pill protects against pregnancies and is effective 99.9% or around there. But i was wondering...how many times in one month can you have unprotected sex if your on the pill and youre taking it every day at the same time? Does having unprotected sex alot in one month when your on the pill increase the chances of becoming pregnant?

I like this girl (duh!) and we talk on msn from time to time, the thing is that she shows interest in me - we've had conversations that last 3 hours long etc, and we get along just fine, but she has a bf already, so i don't exactly know her motives. If i tell her that I have a gf, do you think this would 'attract' her more? Because, i know for a fact that women are attracted to married men or guys that are taken, since a guy that is 'always available' is a turn off (I read an article about this!)

Anyways, any tips as to what i should do? And is this 'theory' true (about women liking men that are not available - so they have to 'win' him over)? Thanks for the answers, i appreciate it =)

And... In light of the Virginia Tech massacare, I pondered what would happen if I were there. I am a gun owner, and I do not always carry them on me but if I was and I shot and killed the shooter durring his rampage. Would I deserve to be brought up on murder charges or would I be labeled a hero?

My daughter's father is an alcoholic mess. He has put our life in danger on more than one occassion and has tried to commit suicide two times in the past six months. He does it for attention to try to get us back, but it's not happening. Can the court take away his parental rights? He is not willing to do that, but I don't want my daughter to grow up with him as her father.

I was in sales of high dollar new homes. I left 6 weeks ago and my past employer has not removed my name from the voice mail system. Some customers have called leaving a message not knowing I have left, and expected a return call from me. Some prospects have met my previous employeer at a home show and asked where I was. He did not tell them I no longer worked there. I feel this is deceptive and places my name in a bad light. My feeling is they are afraid they will lose sales once prospects realize I am gone.

Also, I do not have a no compete agreement. Am I allowed to call my past customers and prospects to let them know I have left? I feel I owe it to them and they are not being taken care of. Am I allowed to tell them where I work? I did take new employment with a competitor.

Okay, My Female Betta, Lavagirl, is acting weird
I put her in a tank with my blue male betta,Sharkboy, cause I thought they were ready to mate and while sharkboy was just in one side swimming around while lavagirl was going crazy on the other side like swimming in zigzagz and darting everywhere but the weird part was sharkboy was showing no threat , staying right there watching her.
I took her out already.

It's time to stop praying...

Prayers are well wishes. But what if YOU actually did something to try to fix any of those problems? Instead of telling the man who's trying to build a house "Good luck", actually helping?

I always hear about how we should pray for this group of people, pray for that group of people. I think that prayers can be strong things, don't get me wrong.

But it won't put food in a starving man's stomach.

It won't clothe a woman in poverty.

It won't even aide to close the wounds of abused children.

I say it's time to stop standing on the side-lines. Get active in the Global Community. Go to New Orleans, Solomon Islands, ANYWHERE hit by ANY disaster to help them rebuild.

Give your old clothes away.

Adopt a child. If not, soothe a child you know who's been abused. Give toys to an orphanage.
