removed valve covers now engine wont stay on?

removed valve covers now engine wont stay on?

i took the valve covers on my 84 s-10 off so that i could clean them and the rest of my engine and now i put it back on and the engine wont start, any ideas?

During the cleaning process you may have disconnected something. Check all the wires.

you most likely didn't get something hooked back up correctly. Look closely at the wires connected to the distributor...not the plug wires...you may not be getting power to the coil either.
