Some people think that Joseph of Arimethea was the uncle of Jesus and that he was a trader. It's not in the Bibe, but it could be true.

Joseph of Arimathea was Mary, Mother of Yeshua's uncle or great uncle. The family genealogical records are not clear. He was an importer of tin from the Cornwall area of England and other locales. The Tin was mixed with Copper from the Dead Sea area to make bronze. He had a decent working relationship with the Romans, and so he was able to " grease the right palms" and get Yeshua off the cross after about 3 hours. Yeshua was pierced superficially in the side while he was drugged with Gall (Opium dissolved in Vinegar) to make it look to others that he must be dead. But the side wound was a survivable wound and the centurion knew it. If it was meant to be a fatal wound the lance would have been inserted up under the sternum which is fatal. The rest is a matter of what you wish to believe, except that that the geneaology records 3 children of Yeshua whose descendants are living this very day as shown by DNA analysis.

The bible does not say one way or the other.... however, traditions of men tell us that he was Joseph of Arimathaea who was supposedly a shipping merchant of great success who own several large vessels... this legend is how the holy grail supposedly got to England... blah blah blah... that is the tradition anyway... that is why he is mentioned in the Monty Python Holy Grail movie when Brother Maynard is reading about the Holy hand grenade... anyway... like I said just tradition

Joseph of Aramathea. Tradition says he was a trader, and was known to sail as far as England in his trades.
