I have a question, but I'm not sure if I can word it correctly.

There is a small group of Christian Regulars on this site that are highly appreciated by a large group of atheists and others. Contemplative_Chanteuse comes to mind, David M, Schneb, Wolfblayde, Father K and a few others. (Don't be angry if I left you out, most of you know who I mean).

They are respectful defenders of their faith, yet they all seem to have a little of the 'live and let live' that most atheists value so much.

Now, if I encounter an atheist on this forum that says things I highly disagree with, that I find offensive towards others...it always makes me feel kinda uncomfortable. I know it has nothing to do with me, but it still annoys me if somebody defends my beliefs in such a bad way.

If other Christians defend your beliefs in a disrespectful manner towards other faiths, how does that make you feel? Uncomfortable? Or do you just don't care, because you know it doesn't rub off on you?

In 2 weeks it will make one year that I have been dating my bf. I have dated so many guys in LTR's, but I never experienced the love, compassion, chemistry, and emotions until I met my bf. He is very supportive of me, as I am for him. We live a little distant and see each other on the weekends. Well trouble came along when this guy at his job is trying to do everything to distract my bf from me. My bf doesnt realize it. It hurts. Something doesnt seem right... Now I understand Bush wants to pass a " guest worker program " but no where in there does it say anything about an Ellis island type facility , what I mean by that is Ellis island was a place where people were checked for disease and if they had them they were not allowed in , but there not checked now . Don't you believe we need this type of facility before Chagas and a host of other diseases from Mexico becomes an American problem , let alone an epidemic ?

hi thr,
i have 2 computers a laptop that i am on now that runs like crap and a desktop that i crashed and now wont do anything. they were both windows xp home. oh yea i also have this old windows 95 thing that kinda works but i need a new 1. i am thinking about buying a windows vista home premium edition desktop computer. probably an hp or dell. i have had hp, compaq, gateway, and at work we have dell and macs. i like macs the best but cant afford 1. i hated my gateway and the dells at work run great. i would want an affordable computer that runs great. i have a lot of pictures and music that would be on it, i play internet games and download things a lot. i also like to play the sims 2 and i would get some expansion packs for the sims 2 also. i want a tv tuner and lots of RAM! if you have any good computers with as much of that as possible for about $1,000 or less please let me no. thank you so much. best answeer choosen soon! hurry up if you have a good computer for me to buy! thanks

My fiance and I have children from another relationship, I have 2 and he has 1. Im concerned when we get married we will have to file jointly and we will lose that extra money. When married can we still file seperate and claim our own children on our taxes. Neither one of us plan on adopting the others children. I get at lest 4-5 thousand and he gets $2000, will we get less back filling together?

Greetings! Today we will be discussing The Kursk, a nuclear submarine which took part in exercises in the Barents Sea and supposedly has been sunken. Consequently, the gravity was pulling down on it than buoyancy was pulling up.
The ballast has to discharge its air in order to sink, for this process; this means that there was something mistaken with the ballast. Administrators believe that there were no nuclear weapons on The Kursk and say that the submarine’s nuclear reactor was shut down. Leonid will have more information on this.

Leonid:

I am here with a Russian navy official, Brad McCoy. Now, Mr. McCoy, how depth did the submarine sink? Were any bodies discovered?

Well, The Kursk was found to the sea bed at a depth of 108 meters, off Severomorsk.
The airlock below the submarine was found to be flooded with water, but no bodies were discovered. The Russian navy officially had announced that all 118 crew were dead.

Leonid:
What did you think happened to the submarine that made it sink? Was there something wrong with the ballast?

Demet:
The cause that The Kursk sank was because that there was something wrong with the ballast. I actually had heard that the submarine has crushed with an iceberg in the Atlantic Ocean. That iceberg had perforated a hole in the ballast of the submarine. For this reason all the air and compressed air to come out of the submarine. These made the gravity pull down on the submarine more than buoyancy. So the submarine sank.

Leonid:

Thank you, Leonid.

Now I am sorry to say that the submarine has been under for too long and we have lost communication with the crew. We believe they have drowned by now. There was no more that the rescue team could do.
