Walking around a LOT, like 4 hours a day. Mine were flabby and how they're rock solid. Also doing squats and riding a bike help lots too. If I had to suggest, I'd say lots and lots and lots of walking. Seriously, it works wonders! I'm not kidding, I highly recommend it. Plus, lots of other benefits can happen when walking... Sunlight, fresh air, you just have a higher appreciation for life when you're out there in nature or walking in the city passing people... I don't know, I love walking. But definitely try doing it a lot and see the improvement in your health. Biking would be my second best option. I have rock solid glutus maximus too ;o) haha - so walking really is fabulous for everything.

it is physiologically impossible to "tone" muscle. muscle is always tone excessive body fat covers up muscle so the true shape (definition) of the muscles can not be seen.
you can not spot reduce the fat stores that cover up skeletal muscle. decreasing the body fat is accomplished by increasing the resting metabolic rate through various types of exercise including cardiovascular training and by eating a healthy balanced diet that is low in processed foods.
to decrease the body fat stores in your trouble areas you have to decrease the body fat percentage until you see the disired results in those areas.
