there is no perfect pet but there are pretty close to perfect ones. I think cats are very good pets. There's nothing like when you had a real bad day and your cat will rub back and forth around your ankles then jumps up on your lap and tries to get its head under your hands and soon your petting the cat and the purr is very soothing and they will paw you in some rhythm only they know. And they have worked cat magic to make you feel better while getting what they think they deserve.

Any animal is the perfect pet, it all comes down to taste. Dogs are wonderful, they greet you when you arrive home. Cats love curling up near you at night. Fish are easy animals to look after and can be very low maintenance. Horses are great if you have a large area. They are so many animals to choose from. My cat who is 12..I also have a dog and another cat...but my 12 year old cat was once left for 10 days with no care...the person who was to care for him died the day after I left on a vacation...he tore open the bag of food that was left for him on the counter and lucky for me I left a bathroom door open with the toilet up and he drank the water..he was frantic when I came home..meowing strange sounds..would not leave my side..slept on my head the first night home...I found out the next day my neighbor had died and of course did not feed him..but he used his dirt box even though it was dirty..he is the perfect pet! Love you ISSSY

Rabbits. They groom themselves. They don't smell. They make no noise unless they are badly hurt (they yelp) or warning you to get away (in this case they grunt). They enjoy being petted. Can be taught to do tricks. Can be let to roam the home (if they're active) under supervision, if they are laid back they'll cuddle next to you. And are obedient when you call. Not to mention they are SOOO cute!!! : D

A Chihuahua...the reason I think so is first off I own one...ha ha ha..but seriously, I have owned different dogs in the past & my Chihuahua is by far the most low maintenance dog I have owned. They dont take up space, they dont eat alot, they sleep curled up under the blankets when u sleep, there poo is tiny like tootisie rolls & they hardly shed....& a plus factor is that you can carry them in your bag & dress em up....lol.

A Siamese cat. They are people lovers. They love to be on your bed, on your shoulder, following you around. They come when they are called, mine plays fetch better than any dog I've ever seen. They keep themselves clean. They purr, their fur is silky, and they are truly devoted to their family.
