My Powerbook usually only has 60-90 mins of battery power. On plane flights it runs out before my movies is over. Like my iPod, I've tried letting the PC drain all its power and then charging in the off position overnite. Still doesn't work. This is a hand-me-down PC so I have no original information. Is this normal for this model? Is there something I can do ti extend the battery length? Thnx.

Seriously... Get our boys out, drop in the big sha-bang, or 50, or 500, and BAM, war in Iraq is over. We go home, international community moans and whines, and maybe we get into an actual war where someone actually has a shot at the homeland. What do you call this? I have seen condos that appear almost like a studio apartment but the one room is a living room and there is a small stair case which goes upstairs to an exposed bedroom that is almost on top of the living room. Is this a loft?

i read a book a long time ago that stated the Greek gods were not meant to be worshipped, but they represented different aspects about humans, and all the legends about them were meant as lessons to humans about how to live their lives and understand why humans do the things we do. yet after time the teachings fell by the wayside and people just began to blindly worship, instead of actually working on their lives and understanding each other.

has anyone ever read that book or heard similar views? what have you heard?

I am 37, 8 weeks pregnant and slightly over weight. I have been on high blood pressure meds for 12 years. I had to cut out one of the meds I was on because it could be dangerous for the baby. My regular doctor said double up on the lebatilol and give it a week. My pressure avgs. about 140/100. I am really nervous that this could become a serious issue. My doctor doesnt seem to think it is critical. Am I being a worry wart? I am considering changing doctors. What do you think?

I want to replace the ball-bearing rollers on my old, but great funtioning, door. They are to noisey!!

I want something more quiet.

A door repair man told me recently they are all the same. I know that is not true because of my close friend was bragging, and he showed me, about how quiet his new door was. You could hardly hear it and the rollers looked a little different.

Do I have any options? If so, where? I want to have as much info. before I contact a local g. door repair man ...again,
