Since the 60th Anniversary of Jackie Robinson breaking into the league, there has been a concern about lack of black athletes in the MLB, but what about the lack of white athletes in the NBA? I think these both are topics that should be addressed

i was with my ex for 7 years(since 9th grade) he treated me like crap the whole time but i felt like i "loved" him.now i realize he was a jerk and i was stupid. we have been apart for almost 2 years, and i am now living with my boyfriend.in the beginning he was great,since we moved in together he has turned into the most negative person i know.everything we talk about has some reason why we cant do it or is accompanied by all the "what-ifs". i am beginning to think he realized what it is really like to live with a woman that has two small children when you dont have the best job making loads of money and have a brand new car.i wonder if he is having regrets for taking the relationship here, but doesnt want to hurt me and leave.how do i find out what is really going on when all he says is yes i want to be with you i am just a negative person(which he NEVER was in the first 6mts we were together)we are having financial problems,but we never had alot of $$ before either.too much too soon?

i like this guy right well we dated once before and broke up because i got upset and said some things i didnt really mean and we did talk for the longest time and now were are talking again. but i still love him alot but i dont think he has the same feelings. so i guess my ? is how do i tell him that i love him still and i want a 2 chance

I notice many Christians on here have uttered the phrase "well, if you don't believe, you are going to hell...", or some variation thereof.

However, have we forgotten the idea of "judge not lest ye be judged"? If there was, I don't know, a Buddhist or Atheist somewhere who preached love and forgiveness, wouldn't he be accepted into heaven as easily as a Christian?

But even worse, in my eyes, is someone who says they are a Christian, and does not act like it (Jerry Falwell, anyone?). These people are lying about their faith, which is a very bad sin.

I am a Catholic, but I don't try to convert people to my religion. Instead, I just try to get them to be moral. For instance, I am strongly against abortion. Not for any religious reasons, but simply because I fell that ending a human life is a bad idea. Period.

So who is worse? Someone who is only pretending to be a Christian, or an Atheist who may not be enlightened by the faith, but still (unknowingly?) leads a Christian lifestyle?

I know this is wrong, but I can’t help it, this woman that works part time at my office is a “cat lady” and she is always wearing weird cat related stuff, her office is filled with cat posters and she is always showing around pictures of her cat doing stupid things. I know, I know, why do I care? Well I’m a nice guy and I treat her nicely so she is always coming to me with the new poem she wrote about her cat, I just can’t stand her, why cat people has to be so weird? she makes me uncomfortable

I was convicted of dist of pcp in 1979.I received A 4 year sentence.in 1990 I was convicted od dist of cocaine I received 10 years.i've been out since 1996.I haven't commited any new crimes.And will not be breaking the law in the future.

A few days ago, while sittiting at the computer, I went to reach for a bottle of water, and all of the sudden it seemed like the entire room spun, just for a second. For a while after this event, I felt a little lightheaded. I have been fine since, but felt a little lightheaded earlier as I was going to sit on a table. I am an 18 year old male, and the only thing I can think of to tell you is that I take Airborne, and occasionally I take Simply Sleep to help me fall asleep (I am in College). Also lately I have been having a lot of gas, and for the past 2 days the muscles in my legs have ached. I am drinking water, so i do not think I am dehydrated, but I am not sure what it could be. I don't know if I should go to the doctor, but I am starting to worry a little bit. What do you think?

Considering churches are big businesses, why would the pastor of these churches tell their congregations anything other than what is printed in the Bible? In other words, if new truth was found outside of the Bible, what incentives do the pastor have for telling his congregation this new truth?

Imus' show should not have been canceled, or his radio program. 2 weeks was enough, but idiots like Rev. I dont know what to do!?
The last couple of months i've been in a depression. I was crying for no reason, soo irriatated by the littlest things, and i've taken myself away from my friends becuase I guess im soo tired of being hurt by them all the time. I was on medication for anxiety/depression which didnt help the situation made it worse. SO I came off of them and i went and saw somebody for help! The last couple of weeks I thought I was coming out of this funk of mine and I went to the doctors and she put me on medication. I havent started them yet but this last week I've been alot more down, Drinking more .. I cant sleep worth a damn .. and being soo easily bugged to the state where im crying over the littlest thing and just being soo upset ? What should I do ??? I dont know what to do ?? Any Advice ?? I really dont want to shrink back down into a worse depression again! Thanks in advance
