I know this is wrong, but I can’t help it, this woman that works part time at my office is a “cat lady” and she is always wearing weird cat related stuff, her office is filled with cat posters and she is always showing around pictures of her cat doing stupid things. I know, I know, why do I care? Well I’m a nice guy and I treat her nicely so she is always coming to me with the new poem she wrote about her cat, I just can’t stand her, why cat people has to be so weird? she makes me uncomfortable

Well i think it's the fact that the gurl hounds you with all this stuff your not interested in, have you ever thought maybe thats y u hate cats??? It's like me coming to you and telling you about something you don't care about it would bug anyone a bit. And not all cat people are wierd, heres what I do, if someone drives me nuts with something and I can't take it anymore, I pick the most boring thing I can think of, research a little knowlege on it and go to that person and do it right back to them, eventually I find they get a taste of their own medicine and go away if you know what I mean. Hope I helped.

Cats Are Very Territorial. That mans a cat feels a stranger has invaded his/her territory. In a case like that, a cat will be aggressive in route of one cat -- in a lot of circumstances the most common-going -- yet pleasant to a unique. The time at the same time as issues crop up is at the same time as a sparkling kitty arrives, a youthful kitten turns right into a individual cat, or the residing house cat seems out the window to make certain a wierd cat contained in the backyard -- the residing house cat would chase, ambush, hiss, and/or meow angrily. And it’s no longer in basic terms the lads. lady cats will be in basic terms as infuriated by technique of strangers.

I don't think you hate cats.
I like cats but if had to work with the person you are describing, maybe even I can start hating cats.
Just tell her nicelly that you are not a "cat person", that you are allergic and you had a bad experience with them, and that her clothes are full of cat hair.

I don't think it is wrong at all to dislike cats and cat people. I don't really think you HATE cats and cat people, maybe the things they're associated with, like they're crazy, lonely, unsocial, which like you said, are uncomfortable things.

As a "cat lady" myself, I suppose I can get a little on the obsessive side. (at least that is what my husband thinks) We "cat ladies" feel as if our cats are our children and we want to show them off just as if we had baby photos to show. I know it's insane to love an animal so much that you think of them as if they were human, but it doesn't hurt anybody, so why not. We need more love in this world anyway. If people are busy being "cat people" then they are not busy starting wars and killing people. They are too busy showing their co-workers 'Fluffy's" latest pictures or cute stories. :-)

my dad had dentures and couldn't chew gum. so he would make me and my friends throw our gum out if we snapped it or played with it. its all relavtive.
some cat owners can get overly weird with cat paraphenalia. I have had cats all my life. currently I own three (and two dogs) and I have probably three cat items all together. all of them gifts.
so we are not all weird and if you continue to write these daming messages about us I will have to scratch your eyes out.

May the Goddess of the Felines send a rally of ringworms your way ; )
Seriously, I don't think you'd care much for this person if she was a "dog" "churchy" "kids kids kids" or whatever person. Overkill of a subject is annoying to anyone when it doesn't interest you.

Have a sweatshirt made that reads "My dog ate your cat for breakfast."
LOL, it might work but seriously, just tell her nicely.

I think cats are stupid too. I had a cat, but only becausee a GF gave it to me...after she dumped me, i kept it until i had to move....i bought him a cage and stuff, but then i thought, this is stupid, why am i taking the cat along, so i just let his *** go.
I didnt feel guilty about it, i just kept wondering when i would feel guilty, but i never did.
They are good looking animals, like the big cats in the jungle, but after two weeks, you get sick of them, they are stupid, if you didnt feed them, they wouldnt care about you.
