Dont use black cohash. Try having sex instead the semen contains prostaglandin hormone which will stimulate contractions and ripen the cervix, much safer than black co.

Not necessarily. Since you're so close anyway, why try to hurry it up artifically? Just hang in there and let nature take it's course.

Black cohosh also does not "speed up" labor. In some women it might induce, but your labor is going to last about as long as it's going to last. For some women it's 45 minutes (I have a friend that is SO lucky) and for women like me it's 24 hours or more!

A good supplement to take is Red Raspberry Leaf - tea or capsules. It helps firm and tone the uterus to make your contractions more effective and some midwives believe it cuts down on bleeding after pregnancy.

Many pregnant women walk around dialated at 3 so baby may not be ready to come out yet. Please, do not risk taking any of the wive's tale advice such as black cohash, etc.??? Your baby will make its debut when its good and ready!

I've heard that sex and extra walking helps though.
