The Flood account in the Book of Genesis is also corroborated by the world's population statistics. Today, we're taught that humans evolved about 2 million years ago. Then why are there only 6 billion people in the world?

In the year 2000, the world's population topped 6 billion. In 1985, it passed 5 billion. In 1977, it topped 4 billion. In 1962, it passed 3 billion. In 1930, the world's population was approximately 2 billion. In 1800, it was approximately 1 billion.

Based on census DATA, scholars estimate the world's population was about 1/4 billion at the time of Christ (1 AD). The Flood was approximately 4,400 years ago, with 8 human survivors. If we follow the population growth curve, we see that the world's human population could have come from 4 couples 4,400 years ago. It seems the human population growth rate is about 2% per year.

Well, what about all of the wars, famines, plagues, etc? Take the Black Plague for example. It killed off 1/3 of Europe's entire population. Yet, in less than 100 years, the population bounced back and surpassed the original population. This is because the infrastructure was already established. The world's population took a dive during World War II, but immediately came back with the baby boomers. After a great loss, there is always a massive boom.

The bottom line is this: if humans have been around for 1 million years (half of the 2 million presupposed by evolutionists), according to the current growth rate, the world's human population should be 10^8600. That's a 10 with 8,600 zeros after it! Double that if you believe its 2 million years old. 16 million years, some think. Then we need 10^51600 zeros after it!

BEAR in mind: logic dictates the simplest answer is true.

I dont understand this. It transcends political lines. I am a democrat, and I dont understand how this could be working, or how the american people are able to stomach it. if sharpton and Jackson can still defend what who has amounted to be an unscrupulous, unethical, untrustworthy, liar-how does that help america, or race relations? This is so lame. And backward. Imus should not have been fired for his words. They were insensitive, and rude, but he says that crap every day! And he's basically a liberal! So you have liberals eating their own now. I also heard that the entire Rutgers basketball team is scheduled to be on Oprah. When will she schedule 3 little white boys who were defamed, arrested, had to post 400000 bonds, and who were falsly accused on her show?

There are so many people I know that are going through firey trials right now, one person marraige will probably end in divorce, many I know are mentally ill, a dear pastor I know needs to have yet another procedure on his heart, many I know are in finaical disarray and contrary to what people think not everyone is in debt because of poor spendings, so many people I know struggle can we all take a moment to pray for the beaten, the broken hearted and the oppressed and for those that never seem to " get a break" from trials?

Is there anything you need prayer for ? I will keep it in my prayer book.

Ok so my newest reef tank is about 5 mounths old. I have corals from mushrooms, star polyps, xenia, button polyps and a few sps frags I threw in. I have 2 leather corals also in this tank. One is a fiji leather and the other is a finger leather. Now I recently put the fiji leather in and it is at least 6" from the finger leather. It appears they are adversly effecting each other though. I have watched them with the lights out and the trailers from the fiji do not touch the finger leather at all. I have altered the currents in the aquarium so the finger leather is not downstream of the fiji anymore but it still appears they are at odds. I really want both of these in the same tank and their placement is perfect for color and general look of the tank. Anyone ever experience a difficulty keeping these leathers this distance from each other? I was considering moving the finger leather down about 4" but keeping it in the same general location to see if that makes a differance.

During my procedure yesterday I was told that a breathing tube would be used. Of course I was under when they put it in and took it out. My throat is still very sore from this (not to mention pain from the rest of the operation!) and I was wondering how much longer it will ache, and if there is anything I can do for the pain.

hi, my mom got her period when she was 12 my sister got hers when she was 12 and now i am 14 and never got mine!!
