A moment ago someone stated that babies are born atheists because they have not been taught about God. That is quite a contradiction compared to what most atheists on here state are their beliefs.

A child is not an atheist....unless you classify atheist meaning lacking knowledge....

So are they....or are they not?

Also somebody out there with half a brain tell me what 9/11 had to do with Saddam Hussein? Can anyone give me an answer as to why Tony Blair was allowed to get away with his blatant lies about Iraq having weapons of mass destruction? One more question that you should really think about before answering why did Britain decide to go into Iraq with the U.S? There must have been a pretty good reason to make up a lot of lies to justify going into a country that a week before 9/11 nobody was even talking about. Oh yeh and by the way I am all for war but only when there is good reason to go to war.

Jessie Jackson:
Remarks about Jews
Jackson has been criticized for some of the remarks he has made about Jews and Jewish issues: that Nixon was less attentive to poverty in the U.S. because "four out of five [of Nixon's top advisors] are German Jews and their priorities are on Europe and Asia"; that he was "sick and tired of hearing about the Holocaust"; that there are "very few Jewish reporters that have the capacity to be objective about Arab affairs"; [11] In addition Rev. Jackson had referred to Jews as "Hymies"

Al Sharpton:
In 1995, Sharpton led a protest in Harlem against the plans of Freddy's Fashion Mart, a Jewish-owned clothing store, to expand into a black neighborhood, displacing a black retailer. Sharpton told the protesters, "We will not stand by and allow them to move this brother so that some white interloper can expand his business."

And yet they throw stones. Basically, it's acceptable to slander any religion or skin color other than black. Nice Job.

For two years I have been telling my husband that there is nothing emotionally between us, and he wont talk about it. I recently started "chatting with my ex" and my husband found the e-mails, some with sexual content. I want to fix things and he wont talk to me he wants a divorce....this sitiuation is onlt 24 hrs old....I can't leave him alone. He can't fiancial leave. He is stuck and hurt bad. I don't know how to convice him that we should try to fix things...I was in the wrong but sex 5 times in 2 years makes a person look for attention else where.

There are a broad spectrum of reactions to the fact that English is becomming adopted universally. I you had to choose a language to become the new lingua franca, would English be your first choice? If not, which would you choose? Please give reasons for the language of your choice. (Is it clear, beautiful, easy to learn, easy to pronounce, able to describe complex thoughts, visual, emotional, etc.)

Personally I would choose the African language with all the click sounds so I could beatbox and speak at the same time.
