Salicylic Acid or Benziol Peroxide?
Just say they were both 2.5%, which one would work better to dry up the pimple?

Salicylic acid is best at preventing pimples.

Once you get a pimple, use a higher level concentration of benzoyl peroxide overnight. It should help it dry up faster.

Salicylic acid is better at preventing pimples, its micro-exfoliating action unclog pores and does not dry skin up like benzoyl peroxide does. It also helps to reduce redness caused by pimples and it does not bleach hair like benzoyl peroxide does.

I think they work together to dry up pimples. I'd say the salicylic acid is more important, but I'm just guessing.

Both work differently for different people.
Benzoyl Peroxide is effective for treating zits and glycolic acid is good for clearing up scars. Salicylic acid doesnt work for me.

When I used to break out, I swore by benzoyl peroxide, but it was Stridex, a white cream that vanished when you applied it; but it was 5 percent; 2.5 percent won't do a thing!! unless you have very sensitive skin, look for benzoyl peroxide products with 5 percent!! then you'll get results!!
