Would this imply that you will limit the other individual of the race you deplore's pursuit of happiness, etc? I know that the social reprecussions will be bad (i.e. this Imus thing now) for such an individual unless they are in the KKK or something... But do you have a right to be racist? Is there any way to change the status of the law now, i.e. make it legal if it isn't or illegal if it is now? What strategy would you suggest? Any miscellaneous thoughts on the matter?

PS - I'm striving to be objective; I'm not racist and I hope you are not either. It's just a mental exercise, satisfying a curiosity and asking for input. Thanks.

My problem is a family friend keeps bossing my family around whenever he comes over. You see my Grandmother just had a stroke so, he is over to help us. It is nice for him to come help however, he keeps telling me what to do. For example my brother and I get in an argument and he buds in. Personally, it is not any of his business. He also tells us what to do. Another example he asks me where I'm going I tell him I'm going out and he says ''no you should stay here''. My problem is he is not part of the family just a family friend. What is a polite thing to say to him so, he can stop stating his opinions and bossing my family particularly my brother and I around so much? In addtion I'm 21 years old and my brother is twelve years old.

A week a go I found out that my fiance had started having a fling with a girl online. We are in the Us and she is in New Zealand. SOmeone we play cards with. It lasted for 3 days and had stopped 2 days before I found out. He told me that with me being on meds for my tooth and sleeping (they makde me sleep) that I wasn't having time for him and wasn't giving him attention. As soon as he gave me my meds and I was out of it he would go to her. He told her things about us that he shouldn't, including that he wanted to call the wedding off but didn't know how and that he thought about just up and leaving. He also said he loved her. They exchanged nude pics and she was even calling his cell. My family says to let it go that she was just a fantasy and that he was there with me. He says she means nothing and that he will never talk to her again. He says he's sorry, he just needed attention. So now I don't know if I should just let it go or if I should be concerned. He's never done this before.

1. An old remedy for a pair of nested drinking glasses that stick together is to run water at different temperatures into the inner glass and over the surface of the outer glass. Which water should be hot, and which cold?

2. Why is it important that glass mirrors used in astronomical observatories be composed of glass with a low "coefficient of expansion"?

3. Consider a pair of brass balls of the same diameter, one hollow and the other solid. Both are heated with equal increases in temperature. Compare the diameters of the heated balls.

4. Suppose that you cut a small gap in a metal ring. If you were to heat the ring, would the gap become wider or narrower? ( Wouldn't it become wider because it's expanding outward?)

Thankss..

Ok I eliminated the Church of Christ because you can't tell me that was the first church. Most members are trying to convince me telling that was the real name. If so why does that matter? I am just curious because a friend brought it up.
