I have been dancing since I was 4 years old: 5 1/2 years of ballet and 3 1/2 years of Jazz. I've quit recently, and I haven't been dancing for about 5 months now. Does anybody also have any good sites for ballroom shoes, costumes, etc.?

I would need lessons geared torwards teens (I am between 13-16). Also, if I do find any good classes, I need a retailer of ballroom shoes. Any ideas?

I know that UCR has a ballroom team. If you contact them they might tell you a lot more than I can, because I'm not in SoCal.
You can look for studios here:http://www.accessdance.com
Here is a couple of very useful sites for Ballroom: http://www.ballroomdancers.com
http://www.dancevision.com
http://www.danceshopper.com

you can find shoes and everything else you need - music, outfits accessries and so on.
This site has a discount for students on dance shoes: http://www.featherdanceshoes.com
It is best to buy your first pair of shoes in a local store because you need to fit them, but if there is no such opportunity - check into websites I gave you. Most of them have good return policies - basically, any non-custom made shoes are returneable if unworn.

If you're teen - definitely check out the studio called Genesis. They are in LA. They specialize in teaching children and teens. Genesis Dancesport
