That's one of my issues as well... What happened to spelling and grammar in this country?
It's pretty disgusting and embarrassing actually...
Even people who should know better don't take the time to check their spelling anymore.

I can't see how the embarrassment lies on you unless you are the one who taught those people how to spell. I'm sure with all that is going on in this world, you would have something more important to complain about. Like the spill of innocent blood for a cause that is unknown to most. Thank you and may GOD come soon to right the wrongs that have been done on this earth.

while I agree that more people need to use the spell checker why are YOU embarrassed? you didn't force anyone to misspell anything and if you can not read a question move on to another.....
FREEDOM not to use the spellchecker is a beautiful thing....relax, you are not the teacher's assistant in here and these questions/answers are not for a grade.

Strange how what bothers me about your question is the way you misused the period in the first sentence (which is a question) and the question mark in the second (which is a statement). I guess different people notice different things.
I don't use it. I usually try to spell things correctly.

as long as i can read people's questions i am not bothered by it. this is yahoo answers. i am not their teacher, so i'm not affected one way or another by someone's spelling, or lack thereof.
take it easy. don't be so bothered by it. as long as your spelling and grammer is incheck don't worry about others, it'll drive you crazy!!
and remember, this is the world wide web! everyone's education level is different. there are little kids on here asking questions as well. just too many people. no real point in letting it upset or embarrass you

Why should you be embarrassed of others' mistakes? Spell check makes very little difference to someone who doesn't know what they are talking about anyway!

Then you will know you did not ask a question in your second sentence right? The question mark should have came at the end of the first sentence.

Hmm. I never even noticed that up there. I don't need it, but, you're right. There are a lot of people who do. Have you noticed how many people confuse "to" and "too?" There is also frequent use of the incorrect phrases, "should of" and "could of," rather than "should have" and "could have."
