Is it that society expects us to be happy for others that we gush & isn't it natural to feel relief when bad things happen to others & think 'thank god it didn't happen to me !' To what extent can we really be connected to another human being when finally we are all separate individuals ?

Redox Reactions -- Electrons Transferred

Balance each of the following equations occuring in basic aqueous solution.

In each case enter the number (n) of electrons transferred from the reducing agent to the oxidizing agent for the conventionally balanced equation (full reaction).

Al + NO3- NH3 + Al(OH)4- n = 24
CrO42- + PH3 Cr(OH)4- + P n = 3
CO32- + N2H4 CO + N2 n = ?
SO32- + ZrO(OH)2 SO42- + Zr n = ?

No idea on the last too... anyone willing to help me?

I have always had my opinion of marrige and since I was little always thought that I would just grow up, meet mr.right and get married. Ive been raised in a christian family and have always been told that I should get married, and that I shouldnt be commited intimately to someone and not be married to them. recently my friend was like "marrige really has no purpose"He thinks that marrige is nothing more than a peice of paper and a ring, and that if you are commited to someone you dont need to be married to show that. And I think that marrige is so much more,Its a jointment between two people, and its biblical. and that if u are commited to someone that you should marry them.I understand that marrige will not make you commited, but I just always thought that a person should get married to the person that they want to spend the rest of their life to. So what do you think?Does marrige really mean anything other than a peice of paper and a ring?Do you need marrige to be commited?..

I am thankful that I live in a free country, where I can worship God as I please. I am thankful that I have my eyesight, and a well functioning body and brain. I am thankful that I have at least some food to eat.

But why is life so hard sometimes?

Right now, I am out of work, desperately and diligently trying to find a new job. I have no money. My car is in the shop, and the mechanic needs 900 dollars before I can get it back. My Mom has Carpal Tunnel, and can't work at the moment. We are suffering terribly in regards to finances. We are contemplating as to how we will pay for the rent next month...how we can buy food and medicine...and it's incredibly stressful.

Why is life so difficult?

I purchased this belly ring that is made of a very flexible material that is designed for pregnant women and people who are very active and athletic. It is made to be cut down by the owner so there is no need to bring it to a jewler to do it. Also, I don't have to take the jewlery out. I have researched it and it can be worn, as long as it is comfortable, for the entire pregnancy if I choose.

My question is simple. The jewlery is 2" long. That is way too long to have in my piercing. For those of you who have experience with this, please tell me how much I should cut the jewlery down. Should I make it just a tad longer then a regular length belly bar or longer then that to accomodate my growing belly.

PLEASE go to the link to see what the ring is like. You can get a better idea of my question.

HAROLD THE COMPUTER GUY
I was having trouble with my computer, so I called Harold, the computer guy, to come over.
Harold clicked a couple of buttons and solved the problem. He gave me a bill for a minimum service call. As he was walking away, I called after him, "So, what was wrong?"
He replied, "It was an ID ten T error."
I didn't want to appear stupid, but nonetheless inquired, "An ID ten T Error? What's that - in case I need to fix it again?"
Harold grinned.... "Haven't you ever heard of an ID ten T error before?"
"No," I replied.
"Write it down," he said, "and I think you'll
figure it out."
So I wrote it down.

I D 1 0 T

I used to like Harold...
