I recently got 2 baby red eared sliders...i have had them in a few setups over the past month but i have finally got them in there permanent setup with all the right things in place (heat uv filter etc.).

I have recently noticed that one of my turtles has grown a lot since i got them...almost twice the size, while the other one has not grown at all. I was unable to tell the difference when i first got them and now its strikingly obvious.

The smaller of the 2 does not eat and rarely basks. he just sits in the shallow end of the tank and does nothing. He also has a mean case of soft shell. Im afraid he might die. On the other hand, the other turtle is doing awesome! He loves to eat swim and bask in the light. Nice tough shell too. No signs of anything bad.

i know that the conditions for the tank are perfect. I have a thermometer that says the water temp is around 82 and the basking light is around 90. I got the filter, UV lamp, and even a sulfa block for the water.

Any ideas?

My husband dropped a huge wrench on his toe nail, he was wearing only socks..I mean a huge wrench a 10-12 inch cresent wrench so its heavy anyway his toe nail the next day was lifted up just a little and is just this awful black & blue type green look to it, he thinks its going to fall off (Toe nail) now if it does, what happens to it? does one grow back? or what..? thanks for reading would love answers soon

Whenever something happens I often add details that seem to be so real to me that is makes me stress out like when something happens I imagine that what if did this and im going to jail and becomes so real to me that I often stress about it.Sometimes I think people can hear my thoughts so I wouldnt think about certain things,and sometimes I hear people saying my name but noones here but maybe because I see the dead.

Its like this, my friend is a 17 year old girl and is a heavy/chain smoker. I suggested she quit smoking (throw cigars), take nicotine gum and from there, slowly lessen the gum intake. I also told her to let us (her friends) keep her money and we'll just give it back when she's better (we are very very very trustworthy). Her parents know but she doesn't want to share it with them(i do mean it). She still wants to smoke a few sticks per day (15) but i'd rather not let her because she has little to no self control. Suggestions, anyone? Help. :(

well,
As i know,most of humankind civilizations were created by Caucasoid and Mongoloid.
However,In the past 500 years,Caucasoid has been guiding the whole humankind civilization.
Now,Mongoloid seems to be recovering. Japan is the first,then followed by four tigers. Now it's turn of China. many people think China will be the next superpower!
