If it isn't mine, I'll probably shove it aside. Maybe because I'm a guy. I don't know.

First, I would ask myself what lazy ^%$^$ didn't finish the job.
Cheeez, they made it to the door and could not find the energy to complete the "real" mission (take out the trash).
So they decided to start another mission, pi$$ me off.
Which takes more energy, completing mission one, or half of mission one, and all of mission 2 ?
Kind of makes me wonder what the real issues are in a relationship when people resort to "silent" methods of causing arguements. It would have be easier (physically) to simply remind someone, rather than carrying the bag to the door.

Take the garbage on my way out. Its just a matter of raising your hands since you are going out. Similarly, we would wish others would do the same to us. Courtesy begets courtesy

I would shove it aside. Clearly someone is putting it there to treat you like a child, might as well act as one.

Does this ever really happen? If it ever happened to me...I would tell my wife to take the garbage out, and bring me a beer.
