My puppy (four monthes) just had surgery done for her eye. She has prolapse of the gland of the third eyelid, or cherry eye. It's when the third eyelid pops out. Anyways, I paid a little over 500$ for the surgery and her getting spaded. They said if we didn't do the surgeries together, the cherry eye alone would have costed over 600$. Anyways, the cherry eye surgury is just tucking the eyelid back down, and stitching it down. They put a cone on her neck and such for scratching. So we've had her back for three days, and last night her stitches came out, and her eye is WORSE. It doesn't seem like it hurts her, but it looks like it effects her vision. I'm taking her back tomorrow, just to see if they'd do the surgery for free or something. I'm only 15 and I take full responcibility for my puppy, and all her expencesses (sp). Should they do the surgury for free? Before they came out, it was obvious something was wrong with the eye, it was droopy, like if you were to pull it down.
