Now that she's nearly 40, she needs to start looking for roles that are more sophisticated and suitable to her age. Otherwise, she will be perceived as Rachel Green until she ruins her career.

Gotta agree with eveyone on the Derailed point! Also, The Good Girl! Loved it, and not very Rachel-Like

No definitely not if you had seen her Movie Derailed with Clive Owen she showed she is not one dimensional.

To me this role was so good for her as it was so far fetched from her "Rachel" role in Friends.

To me her transition to the big screen will take away her Friends persona..IMHO ♥

i don't think you would be saying that if you'd seen the good girl and derailed, where she gives sensational critically acclaimed dramatic performances. otherwise, she isn't much different from other actors who do a number of movies in the same genre. everyone has their own style, and hers seems to work, considering the success of friends and the break up.

i think jimmy stewart was one of the most successful actors of all time playing jimmy in every film, if it worked for him i'm sure jennifer will do just fine!

She tends to be pretty much the same to me...Kind of different, but mostly the same person. Just different names and clothes.
