I hired my college friend, as my personal assistant, believing that he had potentials for. Btw,I am freelance webdesigner. i know few of programming languages and do web designs. That time i hired him, i was disappointed that forgot all what he has learned from college like even simple HTML, graphics editing in photoshop and a lot more.And all what i wanted him to do are so wrong. I trained him but nothing came to his mind. Now that Im regreting that I hired him.What should I do with him?I shouldve screened him. Is it high enough that his monthly salary is 200$? Another problem is that, he is my friend when we were in college... Im sure personal things will get involved..Should i fire him, what should i say or do to fire him which he would hurt that much?Im afraid that he would get mad at me. Please help!

I work at a grocery store and am trying to find a wine for a customer special request. The only info she has is that it is a reisling wine and it comes in a frosted bottle with stars on it. I am having a problem with a document that everytime I open it and start typing Word closes. I have tried saving as, copy pasting, nothing is working. I have had this problem with one other document and all other words docs are fine. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas as to why this one document keeps closing down??? Thanks!

So I recently found out I was pregnant, via a home test. I am currently going to school full time and live off of student loans. The father works but is also going to school. I talked to a lady at the local medicaid office about enrolling in the program since I do not have maternity insurance. She mentioned that I must first see a doctor and write down the due date. I am not sure how much the first visit will be since they perform a lot of tests, but I am planning on spending several hundred dollars. If I do qualify for medicare will they reimburse that money I spent on the initial doctor's visit? I am not asking this because I want money, I am merely asking so that I can plan my budget accordingly. Thanks.

I am astounded by some of the feedback that Christians get when asking a question concerning non believers and why they do or do not believe, and the criticism Christians get because we are not perfect. So what is it other than leaving everybody alone do non believers expect from Christians? I would appreciate sincere answers, not sarcastic answers or insults but true from the heart answers. I already know that we are considered fundies, ignorant, dumb because we believe what some consider a myth - is there something I am missing?
Would non believers rather Christians just go away and leave the forums to you for some other discussion?

I don't want to take my husband's last name when we get married in a few months. I like my name and it is part of who I am. I also don't want to have to go through the ordeal of changing it with banks, credit cards etc. Also (not to be pessimistic), but I don't want to worry about having to change it back if we get divorced (remember, there's a 50% chance - I'm realistic). I think hypenating it is a pain and I don't want to. My family is making a huge deal about this. Why does it matter so much to people?!?
