My father spent about 30 years as an investigator, his axioms were, figures don't lie, but liars figure. coincidence does happen but two coincidences are rare and three coincidences are not coincidences. So as a person who now take sets of facts and is paid to find what went wrong and fix it, which is just another form of investigation. I have found that conspiracy is usually less theory and more spin. If two or more people decide to do or not do something that works in their favor that is conspiracy. If you invest in something and next week it goes way up that may be coincidental but if you do it and you are in government and the decisions that you make help the stock that you own in more than one case there is reason to suspect conspiracy to commit malfeasance. calling those who question Conspiracy theorists and nuts allows you to deflect legitimate concern.
Of course there are some nuts out there who make everyone look bad.

it is not a liberal on conservative element. that's a stupid element. Conspiracy nuts of all political stripes seem at evidence as the two a) helping the conspiracy (and consequently authentic) or b) not helping the conspiracy (and consequently fake). it is it. it is how they verify what evidence to settle for. you will notice that it additionally potential that they are going to on no account, ever settle for that "the conspiracy" would not exist--they have already desperate to reject any evidence that proves it. With the moon touchdown, it wasn't "hundreds of government workers"--it strengthen into 4 hundred,000 people who worked on the undertaking. And scientists from different countries who monitored what strengthen into occurring. And the Soviet area application--they hated us, however the weren't stupid. And it truly is the tens of hundreds of scientists and engineers who've studied the suggestion and samples because of the fact that then. The loons settle for as gospel that the comparable government which could not shop Watergate quiet for 30 days while a dozen people knew approximately it by some potential has pulled this off for 40+ years. the reason we did not circulate lower back strengthen right into a very boring one--money. in specific, there wasn't the political will in Congress to spend the money. And definitely, it strengthen into truly volatile. there have been 12 Apollo crews. We lost one team to a hearth (Apollo a million), got here interior an RCH of dropping yet another (Apollo 13), and had various others that shall we've lost had only one extra element long previous incorrect (the LM going uncontrolled on 10, the lightning strike on 12, the malfunctioning radar on 14, and a issue with the SM engine gimbals on sixteen). We have been going to lose yet another team on a project faster or later-and probable faster. in case you think of that unlikely lower back to the moon is evidence we did not circulate the 1st time, then you definately could desire to have self belief that D-Day did not take place because of the fact we don't have a military sufficiently huge to do it now. That honeymoon holiday your mom and dad declare they took to Hawaii? could desire to not have happened, because of the fact they on no account went lower back. Liberal or conservative, we don't prepare intense questioning skills in school from now on. in case you don't get it out of your mom and dad, you don't recognize a thank you to do it in any respect.

I've heard enough Vince Foster stories to know that this is definitely not true. There are plenty of neocons, who believe the hoax that puts every person that was a friend of a second cousin to one of the Clinton's secretaries and died, the death became "unexplained" or under "mysterious conditions" and thus proof positive that there is some kind of conspiracy. Heck, anybody that believes that there is a liberal dominated press that withholds news or prints only one side of the news believes in a conspiracy theory.

And your evidence please? Both sides use the same arguments to debase the other - liberal fools/conservative rednecks believe in conspiracy theories, brainwashed liberals/jingoistic conservatives get their view of the world from the media, communist liberals/fascist conservatives are anti-American.
Even if one side had a significantly higher proportion than the other it doesn't mean that the whole of the party are complete fools.

They aren't more likely -- conservatives do it, too.
Not all, just as not all liberals are conspiracy-minded.
There are conservatives who believe in Jewish conspiracies, media conspiracies, Roswell, moon-landing hoax, "liberal conspiracy to destroy America" -- all sorts of things.

You must not know the same liberals I do. I don't know any liberals who hate people of religion; my liberal friends believe that Jesus was a liberal.

Someone said if you are young and conservative you don't have a heart, but if you old and liberal you don't have a brain.
That last part should answer your question.

An invisible god who sends everyone to a fire pit in the center of the planet or to a city in the clouds made of gold is pretty much a kool-aid pipe dream if you ask me.
