They've gotten to anger, but they can't move on to guilt. That would be a direct path to admitting they are wrong, and like our President, that just isn't happening.

I believe they are somewhere between acceptance and growth. I am of course talking about the RNC, not the Republicans who frequent this site, the majority of who lie somewhere between denial and anger. The RNC came to grips with the inevitable before it happened. They are looking towards next year's election. No one should count them out just yet either. The last quarter century has not been too nice to Democratic Presidential nominees, with the obvious exception of Bill Clinton. There is a long way to go before November 2008.

Well seeing as how you guys never moved past anger since November 2004, why are you even asking? My life's been about the same before and after the midterms, so my answer is N/A.

I haven't seen growth or acceptance from them (as a whole).
I definitely have not witnessed any guilt from them.
They are riddled with anger and denial.
I did see them experience some shock and depression.
It must have been terribly disconcerting to lose despite the rampant voting irregularities.
Nevertheless, I think they're at home with denial and anger.

Your whole model collapses with the addition of Guilt, Acceptance, and Growth.
NeoCons are without Conscience
They accept nothing but their own ideologies
Growth?? - Us Dems are the progressives, NeoCons would take us back to the dark ages if we were not always there in their face.

Vacillating between denial and anger, with a bit of guilt thrown in occasionally.

The Republicans lost because they were too much like democrats, they spent too much, were not for conservative principles, and got their butts handed to them. We need a return to conservatism, because every time it beats liberalism, there is no contest
